“The objective of the book, Masters said, is to spur a new and more informed discussion among believers and skeptics alike.
“I took a multidisciplinary approach in order to try and understand the oddities of this phenomenon,” Masters told Space.com. “Our job as scientists is to be asking big questions and try to find answers to unknown questions. There’s something going on here, and we should be having a conversation about this. We should be at the forefront of trying to find out what it is.”
“When talking about ideas outside the mainstream, scientists and outsiders doing their own, often flawed, investigations have an interest in keeping their distance from each other. For scientists, the professional consequences of close contact with out-there ideas is high. “The main thing I got from my father in this whole thing was how important it was to keep an open mind,” says his son, Joel Hynek, who as a young ham-radio operator used to record many of his father’s witness interviews. “He kept saying, ‘You know, we don’t know still everything there is to know about the universe… There could be aspects of physics that we haven’t come upon yet.’”

So, if the modern alliance evolving between quantum physicists, neuroscientists, parapsychologists and mystics is not just a short-fused phase in scientific understanding, a paradigm shift may well be imminent. We may soon not only embrace a new image of the universe as non-causal and ‘sympathetic,’ but uncover conclusive evidence that the universe functions not as some great machine, but as a great thought — unifying matter, energy, and consciousness. Synchronous events, perhaps even the broader spectrum of paranormal phenomena, will be then liberated from the stigma of ‘occultism,’ and no longer seen as disturbing. At that point, our perceptions, and hence our world, will be changed forever.”

A compelling book written by author, journalist, and broadcaster, Nick Pope, who left a twenty-one-year-career as head of the British government’s UFO Project, culminating in his serving as an Acting Deputy Director in the Directorate of Defense Security in 2006.
“Simply put, the Rendlesham Forest incident is by far the best-documented and most compelling UFO incident never to have taken place,” said Pope. “It took place over a series of three nights, in a forest that lay between two U.S Air Force (USAF) bases in England. This was not some vague ‘lights in the sky’ sighting – the UFO actually landed…this UFO was seen to take off again.”
“In the early hours of December 26, 1980” Airman First Class John Burroughs spotted “strange lights in the forest” of Rendlesham at the Twin U.S Air Force bases of Bentwaters and Woodbridge. The twin bases were home to the 81st Tactical Fighter Wing, which in 1980 operated the A-10 Thunder Bolt II aircraft, nicknamed the Warthog. They were part of a large number of USAF bases in the United Kingdom, known as the 3rd Air Force; Bentwaters and Woodbridge operated as a single entry.
Burroughs and Bud Steffens ventured out the East Gate to investigate a suspected crash of a civilian light aircraft, but they further observed a white light and red and blue lights. The white light seemed to approach them. It did not, then, appeared to be a crashed aircraft.
The men went back to East Gate to phone Law Enforcement (LE) duty desk sergeant “Crash” McCabe who, in turn, contacted Staff Sergeant John Coffey. Coffey then notified on-duty flight Chief Staff Sergeant James W. Penniston who took Airman First Class Edward N. Cabansay to rendezvous with Burroughs and Steffens at the East Gate.
“…while the possibility of a civil aircraft was still being considered, nobody had heard an explosion or any sounds,” said Pope, “and that’s when Steffens made an odd remark that caught everyone’s attention: ‘It didn’t crash. It landed.’”
Penniston radioed Central Security Control and the overall flight chief for the bases, Master Sergeant J. D Chandler. Chandler in turn checked with the control tower at Bentwaters. The operators placed calls to RAF Bawdsey, RAF Watton, and Heathrow Airport in London; they tracked a “bogey” over the Woodbridge base that disappeared from radar. Chandler gave Penniston the okay to investigate along with backup.
No Aircraft Crash
Penniston, Airman First Class John Burroughs, and Airman First Class Edward Cabansag drove down trails that led into the forest, but eventually they proceeded on foot towards “blue, red, white and yellow” lights.
Master Sergeant J.D. Chandler arrived along with Penniston, Burroughs, and Cabansag. The radios of the four men began to malfunction. Chandler relayed messages between the men back to Central Security Control. Shortly following, Cabansag could no longer relay to Chandler. John Burrough and Jim Penniston pushed ahead to locate the lights.
The two men began to feel electrified; hairs on their arms and neck began to stand on end. Their movements seemed stodgy, as they reached a brightly illuminated clearing. A silent explosion of light caused the men to “hit the ground.” When the explosion dissipated, a triangular craft resting on three legs confronted the men, a bank of blue lights on its side and a bright white light on top. There was no sound.
Penniston noted hieroglyphs around the object. Penniston took photographs and sketched the craft and its symbols. He then decided to touch the craft: hard and smooth. The symbols, however, were rough. The white light on top flared up and dimmed as he removed his hand from the craft. The object rose noiselessly above the trees and accelerated at fantastic speed.
Sometime later, Penniston revealed that precisely at the moment he touched a large symbol on the craft, he was infused with visions of ones and zeroes, a binary code, which stopped when he removed his hand. The “code” was recorded in his police notebook. The UFO eventually departed to the east.

The object had left three indentations forming a “near-perfect equilateral triangle.” In the UFO’s passage, branches were snapped off the trees. Rendezvousing with Cabansag, Chandler and six other security force members at RAF Bentwaters operating base, the two witnesses discovered approximately 45-minutes of “missing time.”
Law Enforcement blotters and the Security blotters contained detailed reports of the incident. The security controllers at Central Security Control also completed an Air Force Form 1569. All reports disappeared.
“Somehow, somebody had removed both blotters and the incident report,” said Pope.
Second Sighting
Later that morning (deputy squadron commander) Major Edward Drury, Captain Mike Verrano, John Burroughs, James Penniston and Master Sergeant Ray Gulyas decided to investigate the site, take photographs and plaster casts of the indentations.

A combat support group awards dinner on the evening of December 27 was interrupted by the on-duty shift commander, Lieutenant Bruce England, who announced the UFO “was back.” The Deputy Base Commander decided he would assemble a team to investigate: Lieutenant Bruce England, photographer Sergeant Monroe Nevels, Master Sergeant Bobby Ball, Sergeant Adrian Bustina, Sergeant Frail, and John Burroughs amassed to investigate the scene. Halt brought a mini cassette recorder; Nevels also brought a Geiger counter. Light-alls ordered to illuminate the area would not function.
Further discoveries consisted of radioactive “hot spots” on the Geiger counter readings. Two rolls of thirty-five millimeter film were apparently overexposed. The team had observed multiple lights to the north that changed in shape from elliptical to round. To the south were several more lights. Another object sent down a beam of light near their feet.
“Another object sent down beams into the weapons storage area,” said Halt.
Halt’s recorded conversation revealed a strange flashing red light with pieces falling off. “It looks like an eye winking at you,” said Halt. A laser-like pencil-thin beam of light struck the ground about ten feet ahead of them. One UFO, over Woodbridge, began firing and silently exploded. Sergeant Adrian Bustinza saw Burroughs momentarily disappear and reappear.
Larry Warren
Airman First Class Larry Warren was asked to accompany Sergeant Adrian Bustinza. According to Warren, they approached to within 10 to 15 feet of the craft. Warren noted that shadows appeared to pull into the object. At times, there was a time delay.
Around the perimeter, Warren saw the autos of senior staff. Wing Commander Gordon Williams was one such person. Warren sighted three balls of golden light and cylinders; he also saw what appeared to be a “being” with facial features, bright clothing and some type of device. Shortly after the time that Williams conversed with fellow officers, the “being” in a silent-faceoff approached Squad Leader Donald Moreland.

Forest Edge at Rendlesham
The remaining stand of trees at the forest edge, seen from the south. The supposed UFO landing site was among trees like these, in this same area near the eastern forest edge. From this viewpoint, the farmer’s field and Orford Ness lighthouse are off to the right. The UFO is said to have zig-zagged between these trees, an impressive achievement for a craft supposedly the size of a car.
Staff ordered Warren off the site; others might have fled. They debriefed Warren and at one point, seemingly threatening him.
Aftermath

After about forty-five minutes, the light from the craft intensified and lifted with no noise or air disturbance through the trees and shot off.
“It was gone in the blink of an eye!” said Penniston.
A large portion of the book had to do with how British and U.S governments treated the witnesses, the curious handling of the evidence and possible debunking of the landing. Pope also examined the various theories that could account for the happening as mundane or not paranormal.
“Some would doubtless suggest that the whole catalogue of errors,” said Pope, “is so unlikely that some other hidden hand must have been involved, conspiring to ensure that the official investigation turned up nothing and that the initial. Investigators were ‘set up to fail.’”

Much controversy also related to the UK Ministry of Defense’s (MOD) highly classified intelligence study into the UFO mystery: Project Condign. A redacted copy of the final report was eventually published by the MOD on its web site on May 15, 2006. In reference to the Rendlesham Forest incident, the report stated, “that several observers were probably exposed to UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena) radiation for longer than normal UAP sighting periods.”
The 465-page report said, in part, “That UAP exist is indisputable. Credited with the ability to hover, land, take off, accelerate to exceptional velocities and vanish, they can reportedly alter their direction of flight suddenly and clearly can exhibit aerodynamic characteristics well beyond those of any known aircraft or missile – either manned or unmanned.”
In an effort to obtain medical treatment for health problems and sleep disorders, Jim Penniston consulted a hypnotherapist. A second hypnosis session on September 10, 1994 indicated that when Penniston touched the raised glyphs on the craft, he “received a telepathic download of binary numbers.” It was during the examination of events by the staff of History Channel TV that Penniston disclosed he felt compelled “to write down ones and zeros shortly after touching the craft,” said Pope.
A web designer and expert in character ASCII encode as well as a computer systems engineer who worked with binary codes in the USAF, took an interest in the sixteen pages of ones and zeroes in Penniston’s notebook.
The code resulted as latitude, longitudes, and brief text: “Exploration of humanity 666 8100…Hy Brasil…continuous for planetary advance…Tai Shan Qu, China…”
Time Travelers
Penniston offered his own private theory in the middle of exotic and skeptical theories that Pope outlines in the book (not to mention Jacques Vallee’s belief that the incident was a military holographic projection in a secret psychotronic test.). Penniston’s theory was that the Rendlesham UFO was Time Travelers from the future. This also brings problems. Critics had questions with that theory as well:
Why would distant-future civilizations use binary code at their advanced stage of development?
Why would a future civilization, possibly 6000 years ahead, need anything resembling 21st Century science?
Lost or Destroyed Records
“We know that some of the key files and documents that might have provided answers about what happened,” said Pope, “have apparently been destroyed or lost in mysterious circumstances.”
Conclusions
Dozens of military personnel stationed at the twin bases of Bentwaters and Woodbridge witnessed the same craft. They have yet to come forward. Said Pope: “We know that light beams from the UFO struck the ground just feet in front of the Deputy Base Commander and a party of men and that later the UFO was seen firing light beams onto the base, and, in particular into the Weapons Storage Area…we know that the UFO was tracked on radar.”
Jim Penniston summarized this way: “It is my thought, but if they are from the future the great part of that thought is that sometime in the future we will know if it is true or not. Is there more to come? Yes, I believe there is much more to come!”

Leslie Kean, investigative journalist and co-founder of the Coalition for Freedom of Information, takes on the topic of UFOs and delves into some of the better sightings of the phenomena over the last 40 years as proof of an unknown reality (and, in a few cases, highly advanced stealth craft by our governments?). Digging Deeper

“Unknown” is the keyword with Ms. Kean as she assesses the situation that debunkers use, as “false flags” and “red herrings,” the argument that thequestionisreally “spaceships” or not. It is a phony argument, she says. We really don’t know what or sometimes don’t have any idea about what UFOs really are. They don’t like to be studied in the laboratory. Some seem to be machine-like; but, if so, they certainly are very unusual machines. And worse yet, many have “ghost-like” qualities and act as if they are magic.
She draws from a roster of good UFO cases: the General Parviz Jafari Iranian Air Force sighting of September 18, 1976, the Oscar Santa Avertas Peruvian Air Force sighting of April 11, 1980, and many others.

Extraordinary
“Yes, that phenomenon is definitely extraordinary,” says Kean. “The basic misunderstanding underlying the skeptics’ catchy buzz-phrase – ‘extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence’ – is, once again, the equating of UFOs to extraterrestrial spacecraft by definition. When the debunkers rally around this battle cry and dismiss all the evidence with a wave of their hand, this is really what’s on their minds; otherwise, there would be no need for them to be so blindly defensive, and even hostile.”

Perhaps Kean does not always dig deep enough to uncover the truth, however, as in the April 1990 Petit-rechain, Belgium UFO case of an alleged 35 MM slide of an extraordinary object. It was a superb case, Kean said at the time. On July 26, 2011 the hoaxer came forth to tell how he created the hoax out of painted Styrofoam with three spots affixed.

Weak Spots

James Oberg and Robert Sheaffer have pointed out the thin areas in Kean’s logic. She quotes the study by French investigator Dominique Weinstein of 1,300 pilot UFO reports. The two individuals point out that even the late J. Allen Hynek said that about 50 percent of commercial pilots and 88 percent of military pilots had a high misperception rate. Ronald Fisher of the International Forensic Research Institute at Florida International University in Miami concurred.
Oberg pointed to a case that was similar to the November 2006 O’Hare airport at Chicago UFO sighting but in Russia; that one turned out to be a cloud trail left behind by a Russian rocket launch.
Kean attempts to gain sobriety and acceptance of the phenomena by saying people need to keep from thinking UFOs are ‘spaceships’ – or to at least stopspeaking in those terms:
“People assume UFOs are, one, a question of belief and, two, the reason they’re a question of belief is that the term means alien spacecraft. Neither of those things is accurate. It was very important to me to make it clear from the beginning that nobody claims to know what UFOs are.” (To Clint Hendler on October 31, 2010.)
If Kean truly does not want people to speak in terms of ‘spaceships,’ then she and others must truly be open to other possibilities and places that evidence leads us, even those that suggest that humans are highly liable to misperceive or lie and hoax. I personally do not exclude “x” factors such as psychology or even parapsychology – what the late C.G. Jung referred to as Archetypes.

More Than Meets the Eye

Perhaps the reason as to why the Air Force, the Robertson Panel, as well as the Condon Committee, treated the phenomena so mundanely after a few months, a few years, is because they’ve concluded early that they were dealing with “ghost phenomena” of sorts: and what do you do with ghosts? They’ve been around for a long time—as long as mankind. “Who you gonna call?”

The Ghost Busters

You may recall the late ‘spiritualism movement’ around the turn of the 20th century and the 19th century: The many cults, churches, and movements that built a religion out of supposedly talking with the deceased and the pondering over teleports and ghost apparitions? This movement, also, was not eagerly sponsored by the United States government; they did no “official” investigations into “spirits”; though, government employees, as individuals, may have studied spirits and have their own independent beliefs. When you think about it, there were just so many things you could do with ghosts; didn’t some inventors create machines to hopefully communicate with them? They say “boo” and you respond in various ways by saying “uooo!,” “eeek!,” or “wow!,” and life seemed to go on with no absolute gain to our knowledge.

To See Clearly

“Our thesis is that the origins of this taboo are political. As political scientists, we are concerned with a possible connection between the need to dismiss the UFO and the way in which modern peoples organize and govern their societies,” says Kean. “The inability to see clearly and talk rationally about UFOs seems to be a symptom of authoritative anxiety, a socially subconscious fear of what the reality of the UFO might mean for modern government.”

A High and Modern Religious Aspect
.
And one might add: wearisomeness — for the many ‘cultist’ UFO religions that have latched onto the UFO topic as a way of selling, promoting, forging their own new age religion – some as pure science-fiction – others as hoaxing, lying, fabrication, psychological pathology (believers and debunkers alike); and you don’t know how ingeniously clever a pathological hoaxer can be. You keep butting your head up against these characters (and some claim to be ‘investigators’) and see if your Ufological inquisitiveness doesn’t dry out. “There is nothing to fear in ufology but ufology itself” (Steve Erdmann, 2008).

More Than One Source

(Which poses an interesting question: If the UFOs are such an etheric and non physical reality – how can they crash leaving wreckage and debris? This would seem to suggest, if true, there is more than one source involved. And what about the worldwide happenings of animal mutilations?)
There is no doubt: some of the cases are extraordinary – but – extraordinary – what? As a journalist, I welcome any kind of mystery; mystery is my soul. It makes no difference as to the inherent nature of the mystery. But I suspect that to those people whose secret life depends on ‘spaceships’ (and I have a sneaking suspicion that so does Kean’s Wishing-Well), even those associated debunkers, it comes as a disappointment that the UFOs may be multifaceted and multifarious. But the people betting on a psychic-ghost origin, take heart: With the prospect of Cairns, France Supercollider and advances in Quantum Physics coming near on the horizon, maybe science is about to take a giant leap in knowledge. Science does need to forge ahead.
Kean says: “As the contributors have shown, there is too much at stake to continue stone-walling. At the same time, we can’t deny the facts that there is a risk in moving forward. The phenomena itself has placed us in a precarious situation that we have not chosen, and that we can do nothing about. We must strive to learn what we can, for it’s in our deepest nature and best interest to do so – to simply want to find out.”

A Government Agency
So, John Podesta and Leslie Kean want to open a small U.S. government agency to investigate UFOs. It’s not a unique request. UFO researchers J. Allen Hynek and Donald Keyhoe made a somewhat similar wish in the past. Maybe one day when our technology blends and colludes with our ‘spirituality’ we can then cross the line of knowledge and shake the hand of a ‘ghost.’

“While all of these are excellent examples of how the professional class throughout Western civilization has effectively destroyed society, it’s extremely important to bear in mind that all of them have been significantly empowered by their legal counselors. “Kirby Ingles, who lives in Missouri, says he experienced bias during the 2009 custody battle for his five-year-old son. His attorney, who did not specialize in men’s divorce, told him that the court judge would ‘most likely lean towards [your ex-wife’s side because the child is five or six years old so needs their mother.’ Ingles wanted more custody and joint decision-making but was told this is how judges usually rule. ‘They didn’t really want to do the work and put up a fight and do any digging in the case,’ he says.
“Ingle’s wife got primary custody, but he has hired a men’s divorce lawyer to renegotiate his child support payments after being hit with a decrease in his salary. He says his new advocate is ‘more sincere and compassionate to his needs’ than a regular family law lawyer and is more equipped to deal with specific issues that affect him such as father alienation.
“But not all experts think men’s divorce specialists provide added value. Ryznar thinks regular family law attorneys are equipped to handle any case and that the niche men’s firms are largely a marketing ploy to ‘drum up business.'”

“By the time the case reached court, the sons were settled in a new school. The judge admitted that what the woman had done was illegal, but because it was in the best interests of the children to be with their mother, he did nothing.
”’She had got away with effectively kidnapping my children,’ said the father. His relationship with his sons has all but broken down. Their new home is too far for them to come to London. When he goes to see them, he has to stay in a hotel.
”’The children get bored in an hour or two,’ he says. ‘They have their friends and their sports, which they would rather do instead.’
“He tells me he finds the situation ‘so goddamn painful. I try to play the role of a father – but how can I when I have been deliberately moved to the periphery of their lives?’

“It is no wonder that within two years of divorce, half of fathers lose contact with their children.
“But this misery is not only the fault of the parents. The family court system is adversarial and encourages couples to fight, says Nadine O’Connor, campaign manager at the lobby group Fathers4Justice.
“And change, she says, will be a long time in coming – until lawyers stop making their own killing from warring parents, children will continue to be used as weapons.”
“Your children continue to cite mistakes you made in the past—mistakes you regret, but thought were forgivable or even overlooked by them, let alone a reason to hate and divorce a parent. Mistakes you thought other loving and imperfect parents also made: yelling, working too much, missing an important event, showing up late to pick them up from soccer, etc. Nothing you say or do helps.
Your children’s intense emotionality of fear and agony seems so disproportionate, and the ‘abusive’ or ‘neglectful’ incidents to process are laden with distortions, exaggerations—essentially reinventing family history. Their emotions are palpable and pitched. You’re told you don’t listen; you just argue. But you believe orienting to facts and reality could help. The children may ask you to show them ’empathy’ and propose the unthinkable:
If you love them, you will leave them alone; walk away. You tell them you can’t do that, you love them too much. They retort, ‘You don’t get it, you’re so selfish, it’s all about you.’ You remain the monster in the horror show you can’t escape from.”

“Brainwashing and Parental Alienation Syndrome”
“I agree with Gardner’s (1987) assessment that most mothers in custody disputes do
some form of brainwashing. I have found that mothers’ attempts to turn their children against their fathers in custody disputes are common. I have also found that this is by far the most destructive aspect of divorce on children. I now consider Parental Alienation of children as a form of child abuse, since it leads to enduring psychopathology.
“Kelly’s (1993) longitudinal research of child’s post-divorce adjustment found that the majority of children adjust to divorce, and older children express relief. Most symptoms last 6 months to 2 years post separation, and usually only involve adjustment disorders. (I discuss this further in chapter 11 Children of Divorce.)
“Only about 10% of divorcing couples with children fight over custody. Of this group,
at least one parent often has hostile, egocentric and paranoid features. In a study of
MMPIs given to parents in custody evaluations, the MMPI’s of the parents who lost the custody dispute had significantly higher scores in Psychopathic Deviant (hostility), Paranoia, and Mania (narcissistic and impulsive tendencies), than parents who won the custody dispute (Otto and Collins, 1995).
“Most children do adjust to divorce, except if a disturbed parent uses them as a pawn to punish the other parent. This traumatizes the child, and its effects may be life long, and is often passed on generation after generation.
“Gardner (1987) stated, ‘Although the mothers in these situations may have a variety of motivations for programming their children against their fathers, the most common one relates to the old saying, ‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.’ … Because these mothers are separated, and cannot retaliate directly at their husbands, they wreak vengeance by attempting to deprive their former spouses of their most treasured possessions, the children. And the brainwashing program is an attempt to achieve this goal” (p.87).
“Gardner also feels that these mothers are aggressing against their own children by brainwashing them against their fathers. ‘These mothers exhibit the mechanism of reaction formation, in that their obsessive love of their children is often a cover-up for their underlying hostility’ (p.87)…’And when these mothers ‘win,’ they not only win custody, but they win total alienation of their children from the hated spouse. The victory here results in psychological destruction of the children which, I believe, is what they basically want anyway (p.88).

However, Gardner went on to describe what he refers to as ‘Parental Alienation Syndrome.’ The concept of the Parental Alienation Syndrome includes the Brainwashing component, but is more inclusive. Colin Bennett portrays the late Edward J. Ruppelt as a hero and iconic archetype that steered a path between erratic and wild military superiors, witnesses and the press. Ruppelt was a United States Air Force officer who, from 1953 to 1959, headed Project Blue Book, the USAF’s UFO Project. Shortly after adding, in 1959, incongruous and toned-down chapters at the end of his controversial 1956 book on UFOs, Ruppelt died of a heart attack in 1960.

Ruppelt took a very poorly organized, almost nonexistent government office and slowly turned it into a fully respected and greatly enhance division of the Air Force—-from Project Grudge to a Project Bluebook—-in a journey that was onerous and often cumbersome but that invariably built, however, respectability on the stepping-stones of majorUFOcases.

One such case was the September 10, 1951 Fort Monmouth, New jersey T33/radar episode that almost literally forced the hands of the Air Force, cracking the heads of Chief Of Air Major-General Cabell, Lieutenant-Colonel Rosengarten, and Lieutenant Jerry Cummings, to pledge aid to a more serious Air Force UFO Project.
Blue Book went from a one-man operation at a desk at the Air Technical Intelligence Center (ATIC) belonging to Officer James Rodgers to an official staff of ten people with Top Secretclearance and many paid consultants.
Ruppelt’s growing-pains tallied cases of destroyed UFO data by military personnel, rather “quirky” happenings that manifested so often that Bennett begins to postulate a Roger Penrose/ M.C. Escher illusion: “A UFO experience then being liminal, is half-in half-out of the Cartesian frame, making it a most peculiar thing that exists in the intermediate area between facts and fiction….films blur, samples get lost, and what appear to be automatically generated warnings (black helicopters. Men in Black) appear….photographs and physical items (and on occasion cattle and people) all disappear within the UFO experience framework….may belong to this world only in part…..” (pp. 48-49)

Here Bennett interjects the sighting of Mrs. Ann Sohn of May, 1952 which contains “humanoid” pilots, a category that even Project Bluebook avoided (this would have been a Hynek ‘Third Kind’ category). Her sighting precludes the July, 1952 UFO flap, but holds elements of the bizarre, senselessly playful Alice-In-Wonderland’s Cheshire cat, dream-like qualities that Project Bluebook was not prepared to enfold. Bennett says a “psycho-social filter” was even in play for many cases that came to Blue Book’s doorstep. Enter mysterious civilian groups: Robert Johnson and Mr. Brewster of the Republic Aircraft Corporation, later, also, the Rand Corporation, or, the Beacon Hill Group, a segment Bennett refers to as the ‘common techno-industrial base’ which would later become known as the New World Order.

The drama thickens around classical UFO cases such as the January 21, 1952 Mitchel Air Force Base, New York/Grumman TBM Avenger incident. “….(the UFO drew) away from their pursuers for most measured manner, increasing speed steadily and performing extraordinary maneuvers quite beyond the technology of the present day….” (p. 79.) The UFO activity crescendo in July, 1952 with the “invasion” over the White House Capitol in Washington, D.C: spooky objects and madcap military pronouncements were entwined, as Captain John McHugo and Lieutenant William Patterson were vectored to UFOs and Patterson’s aircraft circled by a ”cluster” of glowing objects.
The resultant press conference, witnessed by Rupplet and Major Donald Keyhoe, became a circus of Kafka-like actions by Major General John Samford (along with General Roger Ramey, Colonel Donald Bower and others); “Struggled for verbal expression and produced a weird and wonderful variety of responses, some puerile, some quite mistaken….” (p. 133)

The July, 1952 “invasion” was officially denounced as metro-logical: heat inversion (layers of hot air pressing against cold air), mirroring lights from the city. Keyhoe and Ruppelt both struggled with the absurdity of such fiction. Adding to the paradox and Mysterium, Ruppelt surprisingly added three extra chapters to his book, in 1959, seemingly mocking the UFO subject in a way that was suspicious and uncharacteristic of his writing style in 1956. Bennett says: “….his retractions were, like the UFOs, and indeed like the solid globe itself, not quite real.”
The Director of UFO Research for the US Air Force’s “Project Blue Book,” Captain Ruppelt stated: “Of these UFO reports, the radar/visual reports are the most convincing. When ground radar picks up a UFO target and a ground observer sees a light where the radar target is located, then a jet interceptor is scrambled to intercept the UFO and the pilot also sees the lights and gets a radar lock only to have the UFO almost impudently outdistance him, there is no simple answer.”

A rather refreshing book in that Pilkington covers Ufology in an uninhibited, probing and inquisitiveness rarely found in the topic. He and his partner, John Lumberg, ventured about the globe, examining UFO evidence and stories and relentlessly asking embarrassing questions to intricate and prominent UFO persons.

Crop Circle Tomfoolery

For one thing, the book was extremely refreshing for one to read that the two men knew many people that were behind the “crop circle myth” and, in fact, participated in the Oliver Castle circle, wherein two blobs were photo-shopped into the special effects in 1996. Lumberg goes about telling everyone exactly how he helped invent the hoax. But these facts are never fully publicized and the topic always leans towards the paranormal. There is hardly ever talk about crop circles that contain poor or bad geometry, as well.
The book, in large part, centers around Richard C. Doty, “a Mephistophelean character” that worked for the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) as a counter-intelligence and counter-espionage agent at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, and who, apparently as part of his duties, was to lie, spin tall-tales, and spread confusion about UFOs as Psy-ops disinformation “data chaff.”

Psy-ops disinformation technicians consider what they do a “science,” though I find it extremely hard to believe it is true science as it works against basic scientific principles of trying to nail down absolute facts and reality into some established and clarified form. It would appear to be an anti-scientific movement and probably criminal if hoaxing, lying and deliberately tampering with evidence are crimes.

UFOs Are Real

Pilkington reviews his association with the UFO community over the years, including his personal association of silvery, reflective spheres in Yosemite National Park in mid-July, 1995. On page 269, the author tells us of Walter Bosley who had worked security clearance at Edward’s Air Force Base, was a former FBI and AFOSI employee at Wright-Patterson’s Counter-espionage Branch, and Cover-agent of a “particularly highly classified aircraft” at Wright Patterson, which Bosley was taken to see one night out in the desert, looking up to see an “amazing, non-human” aircraft.
He relates the tale of Paul Bennewitz, engineer, and physicist of Thunder Scientific, who led a rather complicated UFO venture of filmed UFOs near Kirtland Air Force Base, his association with disinformation-agent Richard Doty. Doty apparently planted UFO material and helped form and circulate the Serpo alien contact-story that allegedly took place on April 24, 1964. The aliens allegedly wanted to mutually transfer participants in a special Project Crystal Knight. After chasing dubious UFO evidence for several years, Bennewitz died at age 75 in 2003: a manipulated man victimized by Black-ops propaganda in numerous Psy-ops projects.

Palladium Technology

Pilkington analyzes years of government stealth-aircraft such as the Palladium Technology and more as Project Dragon Lady, Lightning Bug, and even further exploring Nazi UFO technology from World War II. Pilkington concludes the UFO field was a pretty mixed bag of confusion, offering no good solution, but a whole lot of questions and even deception.
“UFOs are the ultimate tools of shock and awe, perfect weapons of mass deception. To understand how they are deployed, to see how they go to work in our hearts and minds, is to grasp the reality of the world we live in, saturated by media, bombarded by truth, half-truths, falsehoods, and myths,” says the author, “the mirage men want us to believe simultaneously in both extremes of possibility that the UFOs and their occupants are real, and that they have never existed at all.”

One is reminded of the Number Six character in the 1960s TV series THE PRISONER (starring Patrick McGoohan) where Number Six is confronted by numerous mind-games in the mysterious ‘Village’ and stalked and corralled by a plasma-like “Rover.” Likewise, Pilkington introduces us to variant types of “brain-washing.” He tells us of the late Leon Davidson, an engineer from Los Alamos who suspected a worldly origin of UFOs as psychological weapons in the 1950s: “Davidson was convinced that the CIA was behind each new development of the revolving UFO narration…These were all methods of obfuscation; what Davidson was talking about is a little more sophisticated deception.”

The Wild, Wild West TV series portrayed two fictional Secret Service agents of the U.S. government using the latest scientific techniques and espionage sensations in a blend of western elements of the 1800s with science fiction and alternate history. Agent Artemus Gordon, a supreme artist of deception and magic, appears as only half a human body to demonstrate his prestidigitation skills: “We may have lost the war, but heaven knows we haven’t lost our sense of humor.” The same sardonic humor has continued through to our present-day espionage artists.

Offshoots of this phenomena would be the MJ-12 documents, Bill Moore, the Aviary, Project Aquarius, Bernard Newman’s 1948 novel, TheSaucerFlying, about government hoaxing, Project Beta, the Falcon and the Condor. Some of this was originated back in the Second World War with the technology of Professor Giuseppe Belluzzo, Rudolf Schriever, Dr. Richard Miethe, and the V-7. A 2004 DiscoveryScience TV special called “The Real Flying Saucers” gave a cavalcade of such events, including the Avro Corporation Project Y2 hovercraft, as well as a brief clip of the 1950 B-movie TheFlying Saucer where Russia was the origin of ‘flying saucers’ using advanced technology. Reviewer Jim Riecken said: “Back in 1949 about 80% of Americans thought flying saucers were real but did not automatically believe in ETs. Others thought they came from the U.S.S.R, while most thought they were American secret weapons.”

Maria Bartiromo, TV hostess, financier, recalls the wild devil-may-care-atmosphere of the Wall Street Gang at one of the many parties they held leading up to the 2008 explosion. She recalled one specific holiday celebration in 2006: “The high-profile-party was crowded with well-known Wall Street faces. The host was dressed as James Bond, 007, and ‘scantily clad Bond girls’ roamed the party serving drinks,” told Kerry Hannon, USA Today writer, about Bartiromo. “(In) looking back on those parties, I can recall this giddiness in the air,” said Bartiromo, “the extravagance, the excess. It is burned into my memory – the sight of all those incredibly accomplished and wealthy men and women laughing and drinking.” Bartiromo saw well-known Wall Street faces: John Thain, Chief Executive of the New York Stock Exchange, who recently had purchased a 27.5 million-dollar apartment; Investment bankers from Stearns, Lehman Brothers, and Goldman Sachs; Paris Hilton; Jimmy Cayne, the flamboyant Chief Executive at Bear Stearns, took friendly bards from guests about his 15-million-dollar Christmas bonus. Dick Fuld, the head of Lehman Brothers, preferred being a lone-wolf and would hug one corner, hold private conversations, and “look uncomfortable.”

The Steinbergs were the “undisputed Dean and Doyenne of Nouvelle society,” said Johanna Berkman in New York Magazine, “he…as one of Wall Street’s most feared Masters of the Universe…she…the ultimate trophy wife.” Saul Steinberg was CEO of the Reliance Group Holding Company, having taken a 311 million-dollar loss in 1999. A 150-guest April 4 cocktail party found the Steinbergs “stock-rich, but cash-poor.” Their earlier lifestyle lingered like rum tobacco smoke: Gayfryd Steinberg’s 3 million-dollar “French Directoire-themed affair” for 500 guests (and 50,000 French roses) in the marriage of Saul’s daughter to a scion of the Tisch family, and the $1 million fiftieth-birthday party themed in Saul’s love for Old Master paintings (this particular party highlighted a nude female dancer celebrating Rembrandt’s Danae), Saul had been advertised in a 1968 Forbes as making more money than any other U.S citizen under 30-year-of-age.

In his senior year of school, Schwarzman wrote W. Averell Harriman (war-time Ambassador to Russia and former Governor of New York) during the Paris Peace Talks at the time, because of his admiration of Harriman as a fellow SkullandBones member. He met with Harriman for lunch at his Upper East Side townhouse:
“Young man, are you independently wealthy?” Harriman asked.
“No, sir, I’m not” was the answer.

Zell exemplified the stratospheric rise of private equity: the then sixty-five- year-old billionaire was the wealthiest men in the world.“Crusty, confident, and an unrepentant potty-mouth,” said Bartiromo, “Zell was both admired and feared for his ability to play extremely high stakes games.” Zell owned Equity Office Properties Trust, a conglomerate of 573 properties. Zell sold to Blackstone Group for $39 billion. Schwarzman’s Blackstone Group, then flipped hundreds of the buildings for $27 billion.

Zell stood to make $900 million from the Blackstone sale. “For Zell, the vote ends another chapter in the career of a real estate developer known as the ‘grave dancer,’ ” said Brian Louis and Bob Ivry in http://www.bloomberg.com, “for spotting opportunities in distressed properties.”
After the sale, Zell approached Tribune Company (which owns 11 daily newspapers), buying a stake in that company. For Steve Roth of Vornado Realty Trust, the other bidder, the purchase would have allowed Vornado to bolster its East and West Coast holdings. In the end, Vornado benefited by buying some Equity office properties that were put up for sale by Blackstone.

Samuel Zell was the only son of a Polish Jewish couple who fled their native country shortly before it was invaded by German soldier hordes in 1939. The couple immigrated to Chicago where Zell was born. At the age of 12, travelling on the way to Hebrew class, Zell noticed out-of-the-neighborhood sales of PlayboyMagazine at a 50 cent price – and Zell would resell the magazine for $1.50 to his classmates. Zell would later use his ‘greed is good’ acumen upon forming the Equity Finance and Management Company in 1968 with partner Robert Lurie, acquiring distressed properties from developers (some inhabited by squatters), renovating them into fully rentable units at highly inflated prices, earning him the nickname of “theGraveDancer.”

Zell was able to slink through the recession of the early 1990s at a lesser pace until REITs were created by Congress in 1960 (allowing real estate investments much like mutual funds), and in the 1990s, became an attractive way for many private real estate companies to raise funds; and by converting their holdings into REIT shares, Zell could postpone paying capital gains taxes.

In 2001, EOP Acquired Spieker Properties, Inc., the largest REIT on the West Coast. The $7.2 billion price included $905 million in cash, $431 million in stock, $3.6 billion in equity, and $2.1 billion in debt. In October 2001 EOP became their first REIT to be added to the S&P 500 and the only member of Fortune 500.
Like most real-estate, REITS carry large amounts of debt on their books. REITS enjoyed a sturdy bull market from 2003 to 2006 and Americans went insane for real estate – launching further into 2007 with soaring prices and big firms leveraged with increasing debt to the exploding craze. Sam Zell sold Equity Offices Property Trust to buy-out-firm Blackstone in the largest takeover ever of a real estate company – a $36 billion deal. Then the bubble burst.
Sam Zell told CNBC television on March 3, 2011: “My single biggest financial concern is the loss of the dollar as the reserve currency. I can’t imagine anything more disastrous to our country…you’re already seeing things in the market that are suggesting that confidence in the dollar is waning…I think you can see 25% reduction in the standard of living in this country if the U.S dollar was no longer the world’s reserve currency. That’s how valuable it is.”
During the Populist Egyptian uprising and over-throw of President Hosni Mubarak in February, 2011, there was particular attention and suspicion as to the where-about of Mubarak’s billions of dollars (much of it confiscated from the donations of United States taxpayers) and how handler and spy Hussein Silem, similar to many of Mubarak cronies, played a part in the transfer of such funds.
Ibrahm Oweiss, a Georgetown University economist, warned of Zell’s connection to the 2007 shares he had in an Egyptian company that shipped natural gas to Israel. John Kosmon, Philip Shenon and David Wurmser of the Delphi Global Analysis Group referred to it as a $220 million energy bet in the middle east, and Zell held a 10 percent stake in the natural-gas consortium, the East Mediterranean Gas Company (www.nypost.com. Seemingly unphased by any crisis, in June, 2011, Sam Zell continued his climb in commercial real estate: Zell had just purchased a controlling stake in a 40-story office tower in Chicago – an estimated $106 million value.

THE FUND FOR FULD (Otherwise known as Fuld’s Foolish Funds)

Dick Fuld came to be known as “The Gorilla of Wall Street”; steering Lehman Brothers deep into the business of subprime mortgages, bank-rolling lenders across the country that were making convoluted loans to questionable borrowers. Fuld used several highly questionable accounting practices enabling him to earn $469 million in stock sales between 2000 and 2008. Said Reuters on April 29, 2010: “Oliver Budde, former Lehman lawyer, spent many years drafting the bank’s compensation disclosures and hiding the redirected a stock unit (RSU) component of Fuld’s pay. An email sent on April 14, 2008 to the SEC’s Enforcement Division never heard anything (never brought a response – SE).”
Dick Fuld studied business and he received a B.A. and a M.B.A from the University of Colorado at Boulder and the New York University’s Stein School of Business. After being discharged from the Air Force, he began his career with Lehman in 1969 as a commercial paper trader. His competitive nature aided his Advancement to Power. At the time of his departure he had worked 40 years in the industry; another ‘gorilla’ pouncing his chest in defiance.

Tyler Durden (www.zerohedge.com) spoke out on the Shadow Economy on March 11, 2010: “Lehman employed off-balance sheet devices, known within Lehman as ‘repo 105’ and ‘repo 108’ transactions to temporarily remove securities inventories from its balance sheet, usually for a period of seven to ten days, and to create a materially misleading picture of the firm’s condition in the late 2007 and 2008,” Durden went on to say, “Lehman accounted for repo 105 transactions as ‘sales’…by recharacterizing the repo 105 transactions as a ‘sale,’ Lehman removed the inventories from its balance sheet.”

“In addition to tarnishing what little name Fuld had, the tentacles of the (Anton R.) Valukas (2,200 page) Report are reaching the NY Fed and Geithner, Ernst and Young, even Linklaters, a firm in the UK that blessed repo 105 for the British subsidiary of LEH as kosher.”
“….the report made a strong case that Lehman was hiding the truth in the months before it fell,” said Maria Bartiromo, “(It used) a device called repo 105 in the second quarter of 2008 to move $50 billion off its balance sheet….in repo 105 (it) was Lehman (which) recorded it as a sale and no longer had any record of the assets on its balance sheet. Nor did the firm disclose repo 105.”

Portfolio Magazine titled Fuld as the worst CEO of all time. But case after case of Wall Street leniency throughout the 2000s emboldened them to rob. Lehman Brothers lawyer Oliver Budde discovered cooked books time and again and even turned in proxy statements and hid accounting to the SEC, only to be ignored or misled. The law firm of Simpson, Thacter and Bartlett hid additional Fuld salary of $263 million in the fine print. Later, this same law firm received a lucrative contract to serve as federal legal advisor to the TARP bailout.
There was six solid months that they could have moved against Fuld, but didn’t. Concealed also was $50 billion dollars in loans. Fuld told Representative Henry Waxman during the House Government Oversight Committee hearings that he had earned a paltry $310 million (a grating Hooversville amount in Wall Street dollars), when actually it was $529 million. Said Oliver Budde, comparing the Justice Department’s lack of zeal to prosecute Fuld as compared to the perjury of sportsman Roger Clemens: “At least Roger didn’t screw over the world…green flag on a new stealing season.”
Wild parties and wild money seemed to be part and parcel of the pre-2008-2009 ‘gang’ on Wall Street (reminiscent of the ‘roaring twenties’). Ex-hedge funder Raj Rajaratnam held eager parties as he hobnobbed with big shots the day before his arrest. He boasted of being “the last man standing.” He controlled 130 employees, held $7 billion in assets and masterminded the biggest insider trader ring since the late 1980s.
He went from a net worth of $1.5 billion in 2009 to $700 million in October, 2010, along with 13 counts of Conspiracy and Securities Fraud.

For his 50th birthday, Raj chartered planes and flew 70 friends he called the Raj Tribe (The Riotous Rowdy, Rebellious Raj Tribe, said their T-shirts) to a birthday bash. On a Manhattan cruise, Danielle Chiesi, a well-coiffed blonde consultant for Bear Stearns, took to the dance floor to demonstrate her allure. A year earlier, Raj joined in a strip poker game hosted by Salomon Smith Barney of boys and girls alike.
Speaking of a similar mood in the crash of 1929, Lucy Moore could have just as easily been speaking of 2008, when she wrote in AnythingGoes, “and so the crash came, arriving with a kind of surrealistic slowness – so gradually that, on the one hand it was possible to live through a good part of it without realizing what was happening, and, on the other hand, it was possible to believe that one had experienced and survived it when in fact it had no more than just begun.”

Webb came under heavy fire from various groups and unsympathetic agencies for exposing suchan insidiouscabal. He, despite this, received a Pulitzer Prize. Unfortunately, he died from two gunshot wounds to the head. They said he committed suicide.

CATCHING THE CULPRITS

The inability for the Federal Department of Justice and other fellow law-enforcement-agencies to successfully jail the upper-echelon players and topnotch crooks in this Worldwide Financial Caper raised many questions as to their sincerity or capabilities; for one thing the ‘shadow’ progenitors are very illusive. One law firm has taken the “tiger-by-the-tail,” so-to-speak, by upping the political ante: on or around October 27, 2012, the Spire Law Group LLP, under the managing partner of James N, Fielder, announced a $43-trillion-dollar-lawsuit in the United States District Court against suspects and person-of-interest involved in the financial fiasco, including Robert Rubin, Timothy Geithner, Vikram Pandit, Jon Corzine and others.
Unfortunately, many names are left out of the lawsuit; but, as usual, not enough as to prevent unsavory and nefarious events from happening, perhaps indicative of the quagmire that is offered to anyone braveenough to investigate and prosecute criminals thus powerful.

DEATH BECOMES INTRODUCTION

CNBC Executive Kevin Krim publicized the lawsuit on a news broadcast for the whole world to see, and in Jungian fashion, in that spooky world of synchronized phenomena, shortly following the broadcast, his wife came home to find their children murdered by their nanny. It was totally unexpected, the nanny loved and cherished the children, and the parents showered gifts on the caretaker. It seemed a happy family. Investigative reporter Craig Hulet told host John B. Wells on the Coast to Coast radio program on November 8, 2012, that she must have had unusual strength to stab her and the children in such Manchurian Candidate fashion; the best that could be envisioned so far was the nanny’s complaint about being forced to “do more house work.” It surely didn’t seem quite in character.

Three days later, a supposed 19 year-old US Border Patrol Agent walks into the Chabad of Poway Synagogue, a Jewish synagogue in Poway, CA and begins shooting at the Rabbi and the congregation!
Is there any correlation between the NY Timesarticle and the shooting?
Question: How did President Trump have any possible part in the insane murders of people under these conditions a continent away?
Yet, the US media can be counted upon to make some kind of a connection and assign blame to our President.
The question is, would such a circumstance ever have been attributed to President Obama as he led America through 8 years of intended decline (by malign neglect)?
Of course not! Never!

With the well-known CIA mind control programs such as MK Ultra, the hostile political environment of California, and the peculiar events that occurred aided by the typical dereliction of duty by the US media, we can see several factions working together, and they always do.
Why was it only Fox News who gave the complete story that an ex-Iraq War veteran actually assailed the attacker, chasing him out of the synagogue after his rifle jammed?
The first news reports omitted many facts. Why was the fact that the doctor who was present when his wife was shot trying to shield the Rabbi ,that the assailant tried to kill, fainted while attempting to administer to his own wife alongside the war veteran?
Why did the news media go on a tangent saying the shooting was the President’s fault yet fail to mention that Donald J. Trump contacted the Mayor, the Governor, and the Rabbi.
The grieving Rabbi even admitting that his conversation with the President had been very soothing and reassuring,
They generally left his out too:
“The shooter claims in the Q-and-A section to eschew political ideology, saying he does not support Donald Trump because of his support for Israel. The writer also complains that conservatives aren’t violent enough in support of their politics.”
Why not tell the public? Why not emphasize the important facts that:

until a concerted effort is made by authorities to begin connecting the dots and investigate thoroughly these insane shootings will continue. There are tworeasons why:

Below is a detailed description of the opening movements of the Yang Family Short Form Tai Chi Form of the late Grandmaster, Professor Cheng Man-Ch’ing, to whom this book is dedicated.

This manual is written for those Tai Chi adepts who wish to Master the ancient art of Tai Chi Ch’uan.
“Preparation Posture”
Start by facing in a direction designated “North”
1. Compose yourself in this manner. Stand still with your feet touching at the heel. Face toward the North, standing quietly, with a 45 degree (45*) angle formed between your feet.

To Be Maintained Always Parallel to Each Other
Align the center point of the forehead (The 3rd Eye) along a central line passing through the nose, the tip of the chin, the sternum (Heart Chakra – Jung Syin), the navel (Dan Tien) and the public bone (the pubic symphasis).
The body should held erect, with the spine extended upward with no hollows (like a long bow). The body should feel suspended from above, as if being held hanging from above by an invisible string or a silver chord attached to the Crown of the Head.
The eyes and ears should be maintained parallel to the horizon; always looking forward, with both eyes centered and leveled on the horizon. The eyes should be open but held slightly veiled, sometimes described as, held at “half shade.”
The body’s weight should be divided 50/50 into both feet, while maintaining a clear and steady weight distribution of 70/30 in each foot (70% in “The Bubbling Well” point<aka the ball & toes of the foot, with residual 30% lightly touching in the heels.)
This is the simplest, most concise and most precise definition of the geometric alignments and proportions of The Wang Form, the core principle and cornerstone of Yang Cheng Ming Tai Chi Ch’uan.
These core principles of The Wang Form are to be maintained at all times.
These principles contain the essence of “The Tai Chi Form.”
With Heels of the Feet Touching @ a 45 degree angle
with 70% of the weight concentrated in the Balls of the feet
and 30% of the weight in the heels.

4. Place 70% of your weight in the balls of the feet. The heels should touch each other and rest light on the ground with remaining 30% of the body weight at rest.

5. Begin by flexing and bending the Right ankle deeply, as you bend the Right knee as you shift your center line to the right side, moving your tail bone sideways until it is directly above the right calf and over the right foot.
Sink all your weight (100%) into the right foot with 70% in the ball of the foot (Bubbling Well point) and only 30% in the heel.
6. As you shift your weight to the right side, turn the hips and torso to the right exactly 22.5 degrees, leaving the left ball and toes on the ground as pivot points.
The heel of the left foot will naturally follow the motion of the hip turn and it will swivel out 22.5 degrees (pivoting on the left toes) and thereby bringing the left foot to point North. See Figure 3 below.
Allow the left heel drift away using gravity to extend the left leg sideways, parting the foot to a shoulder width distance away from the standing and planted right foot.

7. Let the left leg extend sideways to a shoulder-width distance, with heel leading the toes out, and now pointing straight ahead (North).

8. Shift 100% of your weight into the left foot by shifting the pubic bone to the left using gravity to slide sideways until the pubic bone is centered over the left foot.
9. After shifting weight to the left foot completely (100%), turn the hips to the left, pivoting the right foot ON The HEEL (0) to the left for 22.5* until all the toes of the foot are pointing North.
Swing your hips back to the middle, with the body facing North and with the body weight divided and distributed as before.
10. The teeth should be held together, without clenching the jaw, touching lightly and the tongue should be rolled backwards or pressed lightly against the upper palate.

10. When you have completed the turn and corrected the alignment of each foot to point each directly to North, form and hold your arms in a shape like a horseshoe shape and take a deep breath.
Inflate your body like a balloon until you swell up in the shoulders and the armpits.
Raising The Power

11. As you exhale, notice that the shoulder release naturally sinking as the air departs your upper body.
At that moment, let the arms fall inward like 2 pendulums until your hands are over your feet (aligning the middle finger of each hand with the middle toe) of the corresponding foot,
Without loosing the momentum of the fall, . and then move them forward, as you take a deep breath, let the wrist flow forwards impelled by the weight of the elbows’ drop, as they roll in and turn down to hang for a moment pointing downward raising both hands (palm down) wrists lip, and timed to arrive at shoulder level, to level out with a small flexion of the wrist allow the hands to float up to the wrist level, ending the movement with the hands horizontal and floating like a lotus leaf on a pond.
Time the rising of the hands to horizontal position to coincide with ONE FULL Breath from the time the wrists begin to move forward (above) to Inflate your whole body, once again like a balloon).
12. Exhale as you allow your elbows to fall evenly and smoothly downward and backwards, drawing the hands back toward the shoulders as you do so, maintaining hands horizontal for as long as possible.
Do NOT allow the elbows to ride back behind the ribs. In fact, turn the elbows outwardly on each side before the reach the rib cage, keeping them forward of the rib cage as both arms return to the “Bow Back” and “Horseshoe Arm” position.
13. As you swing the elbows down and out alongside the rib cage, allow the hands to sink like parachutes through the air as long as possible, as the elbows are unhinged evenly to allow the forearms to fall and spread apart as if sinking through water.
Sink your body weight into your feet, riding gravity as the motive force, as you take a deep breath, filling your lungs with air, again like a balloon, until the hands are down, suspended by your sides, with hands, wrists and fingers loosely dangling.
“The Beautiful Lady’ Hand.”
The curvature of the forearm, wrist, hand and fingers at the beginnng and the end of Preparation Posture (Yu Bei Shr) and Raising the Power (Ji Shr) should conform in curvature to “The Beautiful Lady’ Hand.”
Ward OFF Right
14. Bend the left ankle, flex the left knee maintaining the kneecap over the middle bone in your foot (The 3rd metatarsal) as if you were riding on an ice skate blade).
Shift weight using gravity (by relaxing your legs and drifting/sliding your tail bone sideways, shifting completely to the Left side until your tail bone is directly over your foot and 100% of your weight is centered on the left foot, weight distributed with 70% in the ball of the foot and only 30% of the weight in the heels.
<Note: This 70/30 weight distribution in invariable throughout the form, except when spinning on the heel during certain prescribed moves. Details later.>
15, Turn the hips to the right 45*, swiveling/pivoting on the right heel, turning your right foot 90* (degrees) to the right.
16. Relax the right ankle, allowing the right foot to fall on the floor flatly, then gradually and slowly shift 100% of your weight into your right foot by shifting your tail bone to a position over the center of your right foot.
17. When you do this, your left heel will move naturally with you and the motion will swing the left heel in to realign your left foot to pivot on the toe 22.5 degrees to the left. Release the toe hold”and let gravity swing the left leg under you by bending the knee to swing the heel in usingpendular motionto let it fall alongside the right right heel to finish with the feet touching lightly at the heels and the feet angled at 45* as in the beginning position.
18. When your heels come together, your body should be in a position identical to the beginning posture.
19. The Tai Chi student or adept can now repeat the entire sequence described above repeatedly in a “loop” several times in a row so as to master the movements, and to derive the benefits of circulating the “Ch’i (life force) through the meridian system while learning the meaning of “maintaining perfect alignment” constantly throughout his practice of Tai Chi Ch’uan.
20. Begin again, as described in Point 1 above and following throughpoint 20 for as long as possible to master this movement before continuing to Chapter 2 – Ward OFF Right / Ward OF Left)
Facing in the original direction (designated North) repeat the entire sequence:
1. Align The Wang Form with the planes of the eyes, shoulders and hips always parallel, with an imaginary line passing horizontally through eyes and ears, keeping the 3 planes level with the horizon and parallel to each other at all times.
2. Keep the spine upright and erect.
3 Stand with heels touching forming a V-shape of 45 degrees.
4. Repeat the sequence of motions (from point 4 through 19) as
described in detail above.
Please practice this sequence at least ONCE or Twice a day.

This Berlin woman no longer dares to go out on her own on New Year’s Eve and she has already been attacked five times by men speaking Arabic!
She thinks it is already too late for Germany and she plans to emigrate for her retirement.
