Dear Mr. Morningstar,
Knowing your scientific interest and sound analysis, I am sending for your consideration a research article with an important discovery.
Miracle of The Sun:
Religious prodigy, UFO, meteorological phenomenon, or something else
By Alexander Popoff
The analysis of the Fátima prodigy (presumably a religious miracle, UFO and encounter of the third kind, or a meteorological phenomenon) leads us to a surprising result: mankind is under mind control by a mega-civilization.
When pondering the Fermi paradox and cosmology theories, researchers take into account only the space civilizations that originated in this evolutionary cycle of the universe. They don’t consider the incredibly advanced civilizations from previous cycles of this universe or other universes from the Multiverse and the All. These space races are mega-civilizations. They are very old (many billions even trillions years older then us) and extremely advanced. We can’t even imagine their level of development and what they are. Most probably they are capable of creating designer universes, life, and custom civilizations.
A cyclic (or oscillating) model is a cosmological theory in which the universes follow self-sustaining cycles. In the 1920s, theoretical physicists, including Albert Einstein, considered the possibility of a cyclic model for our universe. They theorized a universe following an eternal series of oscillations, each beginning with a Big Bang and ending with a Big Crunch.
Each evolutionary cycle of our universe and other universes gives birth to a large amount of superior civilizations.
What we are witnessing now is simply the latest cycle of the colossal natural structure we call our universe. Of course, it could be a designer universe, which is a product of a superior space race. In both cases there is a huge amount of mega-civilizations with their plans, great works, and dreams.
For the mega-civilizations, humanity is like a Monopoly game on the table, next to the sandwiches and the beer—humans are totally visible, accessible, contactable, and manipulatable.
On the 13 of October, 1917, some striking events happened near the small town Fátima in Portugal. A large crowd of 70,000 to 100,000 people observed the Miracle of the Sun.
Professor José Garrett from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Coimbra, armed with binoculars, was standing on the rim of the hollow field called Cova da Iria with a commanding view of the entire area. He could observe not only the crowd, but also the spot where the apparitions appeared in the last few months. Professor Garrett counted more thana hundred thousand people. He wrote a detailed report on this events. Newspaper reporters were also in attendance; they took testimony from many people who have witnessed extraordinary solar activity and other strange events.
The large crowd had gathered there because three young shepherd children (Jacinta 7, Francisco 9, and Lucia 10) had predicted a few months earlier that at high noon at that day the celestial lady who had appeared to them several times would perform a great miracle “so that all people may believe!”
In May 1917, the small shepherds claimed to have encountered a celestial lady. The children were watching their sheep when they saw a bright flash. Then they walked toward the pasture field Cova da Iria, an old sacred spot, where they were caught in a glowing, blinding light. Lucia said that in the center of the light they saw a little feminine creature about 1.1 meter high. She was extremely beautiful. Her age was between 12 and 15 years. Lucia stated that “She was wearing a narrow skirt, a jacket, and a cloak, all with little golden cords running crisscross through them.” “She made no facial movements, nor did she articulate her lower limbs when she walked.” “She spoke without moving her lips, and moved only her hands from time to time.”
The oldest child, Lucia, was the only one to speak to her, and the lady from the heaven told the kids that she would reappear to them on the thirteenth day of the next six months.
On June 13, there were about fifty people to see the lady from the heaven. Only the three small shepherds could see the apparition. Lucia talked with some unseen entity whose answers were not heard by the other people. Only one witness reported hearing a faint voice or buzzing of a bee. When the meeting ended was heard an explosion and they saw a little cloud rise from the vicinity of a small tree, where during the next few months the apparitionsappeared.
About five thousand people were present at the third vision. The small shepherds said that the celestial lady had given them a secret and would perform a great miracle in October.
About thirty thousand people were present at the fourth vision. It was affirmed that in October would be “a miracle, so that everyone may believe.”
The news was in the newspapers all over the country. Many people thought it was a lie. The Portugal government didn’t believe it either. The church was silent.
The big day, October 13, 1917, was gloomy and rainy.
Professor José Garrett reported, “It must have been 1:30 p.m. [about midday by the sun] when there arose, at the exact spot where the children were, a column of smoke, thin, fine, and bluish, which extended up to perhaps two meters above their heads, and evaporated at that height. This phenomenon, perfectly visible to the naked eye, lasted for a few seconds. Not having noted how long it had lasted, I cannot say whether it was more or less than a minute. The smoke dissipated abruptly, and after some time, it came back to occur a second time, then a third time.”
Witness Dominic Reis remembers, “And then the children walk to the tree, and talk in the direction of the tree, and we see the children bent down just like bow to somebody. I didn’t see what, but something was there because we see the children bend down, then we see the children move the lips to talk to someone.”
Again, the celestial lady appeared only to the children. She presented herself as Virgin Mary. After predicting an end to the war, the near death of two of the small shepherds, and giving the kids certain visions, Virgin Mary lifted her hands to the sky.
The rain stopped and the sun started breaking. And the promised grand miracle began!
The sun started to wander within the circle of the receded clouds. It seemed pale, like a ball of snow. Then the solar disk began to rotate about its center at a rather high velocity, about a turn per second.
The most astonishing thing was that the people were able to stare at the solar disc for a long time, brilliant with light and heat, without hurting the eyes or damaging the retina.
Everything around turned into different colors.
Some eyewitnesses saw white petals shower down and disintegrate before reaching the earth.
Professor Garrett wrote, “I turned around, too, toward the point commanding their gaze and I could see the sun, like a very clear disc, with its sharp edge, which gleamed without hurting the sight. It could not be confused with the sun seen through a fog (there was no fog at that moment), for it was neither veiled nor dim. At Fátima, it kept its light and heat, and stood out clearly in the sky, with a sharp edge, like a large gaming table. The most astonishing thing was to be able to stare at the solar disc for a long time, brilliant with light and heat, without hurting the eyes or damaging the retina. [During this time], the sun’s disc did not remain immobile, it had a giddy motion, [but] not like the twinkling of a star in all its brilliance for it spun round upon itself in a mad whirl.”
The sun was spinning rapidly like a fire-wheel, throwing beams of several colors. The people and everything around were stained with the colors of the rainbow. The sun seemed literally to dance in the sky. It looked like flat disk rather than a globe.
Two witnesses looked at the sun with binoculars and said seeing a ladder and two creatures.
Witnesses reported seeing shining, silvery angel hair (a cobweb-like substance) falling from the sky, which evaporated before touching the ground. Some people saw rose petals falling from the heavens and melting away.
The air was refreshed, and the scent of sanctity wafted over the crowd.
Some could see in the skies the smiling face of the Blessed Virgin herself.
“The seconds seemed like hours, so vivid were they.”
The people were enchanted by a remarkable spectacle in the sky of a kind they had never seen before.
The blood red sun suddenly stopped spinning and seemed to come down in a zigzag, strongly radiating heat, threatening to burn and smash the Earth. It came rapidly closer and closer, with increasing size and brilliancy. A terrible moment!
The people cried, ”It comes down! It comes down!”
Most of the panicked witnesses thought their last hour had come. The people were weeping and expecting the end of the world at any moment. They felt the heat of the fiery sun that was coming down.
Professor Garrett wrote, “Then, suddenly, one heard a clamor, a cry of anguish breaking from all the people. The sun, whirling wildly, seemed all at once to loosen itself from the firmament and, blood red, advance threateningly upon the earth as if to crush us with its huge and fiery weight. The sensation during those moments was truly terrible.”
The people believed it was the end of the world.
Some were losing their senses.
The crowds around were making a tremendous noise. Most of them were crying out to God for mercy. Many were confessing their sins aloud, asking God to pardon their sins. Parents were throwing themselves protectively over their children. A few were trying to run away from the falling sun. Some were simply paralyzed with fear.
Then suddenly, the sun was back in its usual place.
The great terror of being burned and smashed by the huge, fiery sun was followed by an enormous feeling of joy and relief.
And then the wind started to blow really hard, but strangely enough, the bushes and trees did not move or shake because of the wind, just like in a dream. The rain-soaked clothing of the people became dry very quickly, almost instantly. The soaked clothes were now “suddenly and completely dry.”
Most people were standing, but many others were on their knees: crying, praying really hard, or calling on the Virgin Mary. The people were fully convinced: it was a miracle, a real miracle! There is a God in the Heavens! Atheists were converted! People shouted, “I believe! I believe! I believe!”
“I was amazed, in ecstasy before the demonstration of divine power…converted in that moment.”
Despite the attempts of photojournalists, the phenomenon itself could not be photographed. In the pictures we can see only crowds looking at the cloudy sky, many shading their eyes.
The solar phenomenon was not observed in any observatory.
The Miracle of the Sun, other religious miracles, many UFO sightings, and other phenomena, while witnessed by most of the present people, are usually never witnessed by all. Some of the Fátima witnesses, including believers, reported that they saw only cloudy skies.
Andrija Puharich, a medical and parapsychological researcher, medical inventor, physician, and author, known as the person who brought the Israeli Uri Geller to the United States for scientific investigation. wrote in his book about Geller that once when driving in the desert, Puharich, Geller, and another witness saw a huge spaceship but the three military personnel in the front seat were unable to see it. Andrija Puharich also recorded other occasions when he and Uri Geller could see UFOs that the other individuals present could not observe.
Not all reported seeing the sun “dance.” Monsignor John Quareman said, “To my surprise, I saw clearly and distinctly a globe of light advancing from east to west, gliding slowly and majestically through the air.” Some observers only saw the radiant colors, some claimed that the sun spun pinwheel-like, while others maintained that it danced in the skies, some peoplereported that they saw only cloudy skies, as if the witnesses were watching different sun and skies with different phenomena or no phenomena at all.
But what caused the Miracle of the Sun? What was the colorful object in the skies that looked like the sun? Or it was indeed the sun? Then why no observatory observed the solar phenomenon? If this was a physical solar phenomenon, about one third of the population of the Earth should see the sun dancing, rotating, throwing beams of many colors, and falling down, but only a chosen group of 100,000 people near Fátima could witness the prodigy. Most probably because this was not a physical phenomenon high in the sky, but a psychological one.
According to the Catholic church, it was a genuine miracle made by God or Virgin Mary.
Professor Auguste Meessen of the Institute of Physics, Catholic University of Leuven wrote that the observations near Fátima were optical effects caused by prolonged staring at the sun. Meessen suggested that retinal after-images produced after brief periods of sun gazing were a likely cause of the observed dancing effects of the solar disc. He stated that the color changes were most likely caused by the bleaching of photosensitive retinal cells. If that were the case, then the Miracle of the Sun could be easily duplicated: you just look into the sun for a few seconds and the prodigy begins again and again. But the miracles are reluctant events and they tend to happen extremely rarely, especially the majestic ones.
Meessen writes that the prodigy was optical effects caused by prolonged staring at the sun, but at that time there was no sun in the sky—some witnesses didn’t see the miracle at all. They were observing only a cloudy sky. In the field near Fátima were present photojournalists who made pictures: first, in the photographs there is no sun in the sky, second, the shadows of the people and their belongings (canes, sticks, umbrellas, etc.) also show that there was no sun—there are no strong shadows in the pictures that indicate bright sunshine.
The author, journalist, and researcher D. Scott Rogo wrote in his book Miracles: A Parascientific Inquiry Into Wondrous Phenomena, published in 1982, that “Most writers on Fátima claim that the disc was the sun. But judging by the descriptions we have…the disc was at the wrong elevation and azimuth to have actually been the sun.”
The witness Joaquim Vicente also noticed that the sun was not in the right place. He said, “Suddenly the clouds opened and the sun seemed as though through a window. It began spinning, coming so low that I looked at my watch and believed it was not right as the sun was so low.”
No observatory reported any changes in the movement of the real sun.
People were able to stare for a long time at the colorful object in the sky, brilliant with light and heat, without hurting the eyes or damaging their retina.
Some researchers wrote that the people could stare at the sun because there was mist or thin clouds between the witnesses and the solar disc. But professor Garrett wrote, “I could see the sun, like a very clear disc, with its sharp edge, which gleamed without hurting the sight. It could not be confused with the sun seen through a fog (there was no fog at that moment), for it was neither veiled nor dim.” “At Fátima, it kept its light and heat, and stood out clearly in the sky, with a sharp edge, like a large gaming table.”
The crowds were watching not the real solar disc but something else. One cannot stare at the real sun for a long time without damaging the eyes. The reported events lasted for about twelve minutes. Man cannot look at the sun for so long time without damaging the eyesight. The eyewitnesses did not complain afterwards that their eyesight was damaged because of watching the sun for twelve minutes. Out of tens of thousands of witnesses, there were no report of a single person having incurred eyesight damage, let alone blindness. It can take as little as a few seconds before temporary or permanent damage of the eyesight can begin to occur.
At the Colorado and India sites, many people suffered eye damage (solar retinopathy)—in some instances, possibly permanent damage (Joe Nickell 1993, Sebastian 2008). Obviously, they were looking at the real sun.
But what were observing the witnesses at Fátima? The crowds were watching not the real solar disc but something else. What was it?
The religious people believe it was a miracle, the UFO enthusiasts claim that this was an alien spaceship, some researchers suggest that this was some strange meteorological phenomenon.
Stuart Campbell suggests in his article “The Miracle of the Sun at Fátima,” Journal of Meteorology, Vol 14, no. 142, October, 1989, that stratospheric dust caused the Miracle of the Sun. A cloud of stratospheric dust changed the appearance of the sun, making it easy to look at, and causing it to appear yellow, blue, and violet and to spin. In support of his theory, Campbell wrote that a blue and reddened sun was reported in China in 1983.
This theory fails to explain how this meteorological event caused by stratospheric dust was predicted several months before it took place. It also can’t explain the great heat coming from the alleged dancing sun, the strong wind that started to blow really hard, but the bushes and trees did not move or shake, why the rain-soaked clothing of the people became dry very quickly, almost instantly, nor the white petals that showered down and disintegrate before reaching the earth, etc. How a cloud of stratospheric dust could change the appearance of the sun when at that time there was no sun in the cloudy sky?
The meteorological theories also can’t explain the predicted near death of the two small shepherds. They fail to explain why some of the present people didn’t observe the meteorological phenomenon.
Paul Simons in an article entitled “Weather Secrets of Miracle at Fátima” suggests that some of the optical effects at Fátima may have been caused by a cloud of dust from the Sahara. This theory suffers the same drawbacks as the previous one.
Some researchers suggest that the Miracle of the Sun was a sundog (or sundogs, mock suns, or phantom suns, scientific name parhelia). Sundogs are an atmospheric phenomenon that consists of a pair of bright spots on either side on the Sun, often co-occurring with a luminous ring. They are created by light interacting with ice crystals in the atmosphere. Sun dogs are best seen and are most conspicuous when the sun is close to the horizon. But the Fátima events occurred at noon, when the sun crosses the meridian and is at its highest elevation in the sky, not close to the horizon. Second, the people witnessed only one sun, not three suns or two additional bright lights in the sky. Third, the sundogs are stationary lights in the skies, they are not spinning like a fire-wheel, throwing beams of several colors, they are not coming down in a zigzag, strongly radiating heat. Fifth, at that time there was no sun in the sky that could create sundogs. This theory fail to explain also other peculiarities of the Fátima events. For instance, how was it possible a small illiterate shepherd to predict several months upfront the appearance of sundogs at noon on the 13 of October, 1917.
Father Stanley Jaki, Benedictine priest, physicist, and historian, suggested in his booklet The Sun’s Miracle or of Something Else that an air lens of ice crystals formed above Fátima and caused the solar phenomena.
Jaki wrote in his autobiography, A Mind’s Matter: An Intellectual Autobiography, “Suddenly the sun’s image turned into a wheel of fire which for the people there resembled a “rodo de fuogo” familiar to them in fireworks. The physical core of that wheel was, as we now have to conjecture, an air lens full of ice crystals, as cirrus clouds are. Such crystals can readily refract the sun’s rays into various colors of the rainbow. The references to the strong west-east wind and to the continued drift of clouds may account for the interplay of two streams of air that could give a twist, in a way analogous to the formation of tornadoes, to put that lens-shaped air mass into rotation.”
People reported that before the miracle the sun had a silver color. According to Jaki, the formation of ice in the atmosphere gave that silver color. Witnesses reported a movement of the sun toward the Earth, the solar disc grew and became closer and closer to the ground. The author explained this with the magnifying power of the air lens made of ice crystals. As the air lens moved in the skies it would give the appearance of a movement (dancing) of the sun. The colors appeared because the air lens refracted the light, just like in a rainbow. The muddy, wet ground and the clothing of the people miraculously dried up almost instantaneously because the air lens concentrated heat to the site like a giant natural magnifying glass. It looks like a very nice theory but how was such an extremely rare incredible meteorological phenomenon predicted by the small illiterate shepherds several months earlier? Second, the powerful concentrated light that dried up the ground and the clothing of the people in a few seconds should burn the clothing and the people themselves. Third, at that time there was no sun in the skies, only clouds, ergo, such effect was not possible. This theory can‘t explain the strong wind that started to blow really hard, but the bushes and trees did not move or shake, nor the white petals that showered down and disintegrate before reaching the Earth.
Stanley L. Jaki proposed that the event was natural and meteorological in nature, but that the fact the event occurred at the exact time predicted was a miracle.
Neither of the aforementioned theories can resolve the mystery of the scent of sanctity that wafted over the crowd.
Kevin McClure claims that the crowd at Cova da Iria may have been expecting to see signs in the sun, since similar phenomena had been reported in the weeks leading up to the miracle. On this basis, he believes that the crowd saw what it wanted to see. But the people were looking at the spot of the apparitions, at the three small shepherds, and at the little oak tree where the celestial lady was said to appear, not at the sun. The believers expected to see there Virgin Mary.
Professor Garrett wrote, “Suddenly I heard the uproar of thousands of voices, and I saw the whole multitude spread out in that vast space at my feet…turn their backs to that spot where, until then, all their expectations had been focused, and look at the sun on the other side.”
The crowds were expecting to see Virgin Mary doing religious miracles, not some solar phenomenon or a wind that would dry up their clothes in a few seconds. This theory fails to explain reports of witnesses many miles away, who were not even thinking of the event at the time.
The witness Carlos de Azevedo Mendes was asked if he had any idea of what was going to happen. “No, I did not have the slightest idea of what might happen.”
Antonio dos Reis Novo when answered if the know what would happen said, “Nobody knew anything about what might happen.”
The witness Maria Celeste was asked, “Did you think anything might happen, Madame?”
“I expected that all was fancy of poor children and we would see nothing.”
There was also a large number of unbelievers that didn’t expect to see anything.
Some researchers suggest that the Miracle of The Sun was a gigantic coronal mass ejection. Solar flares emit high-speed particles that cause the Aurora Borealis. This theory also can’t explain most of the peculiarities of the Fátima events and the fact that this happened on schedule as predicted.
There is no such meteorological event that can explain all peculiarities of the Miracle of the Sun: the blood red sun that seemed to come down in a zigzag, strongly radiating heat, threatening to burn and smash the Earth, the wandering sun within the circle of the receded clouds, turning everything around into different colors, the wind blowing really hard, but the bushes and trees did not move or shake because of the wind, the rain-soaked clothing of the people became dry very quickly, almost instantly, etc. And most importantly, the events were predicted several months earlier by illiterate small shepherds. Such meteorological event never happened before and after the Fátima events. And one more remark: if this was a natural meteorological event, all present people should observe it. Not all witnesses reported seeing the solar phenomenon. Neither could the journalist take photographs of the event.
After the solar phenomenon the wind started to blow really hard, but the bushes and trees did not move or shake because of the wind. Some people reported that their rain-soaked clothing and the ground became “suddenly and completely dry.”
But why did the bushes and trees not move or shake because of the strong wind? The witnesses reported that the wind was blowing really hard. This is another argument against the physical nature of the event. There are UFO cases where trees bent wildly, although witnesses could feel no wind, or the wind was blowing really hard, but the bushes and trees did not move or shake because of the wind. Most probably the same power manipulates the minds of the people witnessing religious events and UFO encounters.
Most witnesses don’t mention the miraculous wind and drying up. Obviously they were product of mind manipulation.
Many researchers have noticed the similarities in the Fátima events to some UFO cases.
Jacques Vallee wrote in his book Dimensions: a Casebook of Alien Contact, “Many descriptions of UFO phenomena force us to deal simultaneously with two categories we always attempt to separate: the physical (or technical) and the spiritual (or divine). Numerous witnesses, in their statements after a close encounter, claim bluntly that the experience of the phenomenon has a religious meaning to them.” The author suggests that the apparitions at Fátima offer a historical example of the religious dimension of UFO encounters.
Jacques Vallee also wrote, “Not only was a flying disk or globe consistently involved, but its motion, its falling-leaf trajectory, its light objects, the thunderclaps, the buzzing sounds, the strange fragrance, the fall of “angel hair” that dissolves upon reaching the ground, the heat wave associated with the close approach of the disc—all of these are frequent parameters of UFO sightings everywhere. And so are the paralysis, the amnesia, the conversions, and the healings.”
This is a very interesting remark. As if the religious and the UFO phenomena are both sides of the same coin. As if they have the same origin (whatever it is). Something or someone is using items from a single list of impressive elements to create religious, UFO, and other paranormal phenomena.
Professor Meessen wrote in his article “Apparitions and the Miracles of the Sun,” “The hypothesis of an extraterrestrial intervention may seem to be unrealistic to those who are not aware of the real dimensions of the UFO-phenomenon. There is ample evidence, however, that it deserves serious attention. It is conceivable, in principle, that apparitions and miracles of the sun could be produced by “alien visitors” having technical capabilities far beyond our own. We can even imagine that extraterrestrial civilizations could be interested in performing large scale ”psychosocial experiments” without letting us become aware of their procedures, to test our reactions and beliefs in religious matters.”
According this theory, the Miracle of the Sun was caused by alien visitors using super advanced technological means as part of psychosocial experiments; the dancing sun was a maneuvering extraterrestrial spaceship.
Some researchers, including Jacques Vallee, suggest that the disc and the light in the skies was not the sun but a UFO. Their arguments are that the sun can’t move around in the sky, it is a sphere not an opaque spinning disc, man can’t watch the sun for long time without hurting the eyes, the multicolored lights emitting from the object are typical for UFOs, etc.
Angel hair is often associated with UFOs, too. The UFO believers suggest that the presence of angel hair at Fátima is a proof that that was an alien spaceship sighting. A theory among ufologists states that angel hair is created from “ionized air sleeting off an electromagnetic field” that surrounds a UFO. Angel hair is dispersed from UFOs as they fly overhead.
Lucia said about the apparition of the celestial lady that, “She made no facial movements, nor did she articulate her lower limbs when she walked.” Talking without moving the lips and walking without moving the legs is a common feature of some ufonauts and men in black.
The change of color of flying objects is often associated with UFOs. At the beginning of the Miracle of the Sun the solar disc had a color of silver, then the colors of a rainbow, when it began to fall down to Earth it became blood red.
After the meeting with the apparitions one of the little girls said, “I cannot speak, nor play, nor sing, and I haven’t the strength to do anything.” The close encounters with UFOs and ufonauts also often end up with total exhaustion of the witnesses. The fatigue is a common characteristic after paranormal events.
Some researchers suggest that when the UFO descended over the crowd it was interpreted as a falling of the “sun.” The people felt the heat of the propulsion system and their clothes and the ground “miraculously” died up in a few moments. The strong wind was caused by the movements of the large alien spaceship.
Specific smells are often associated with religious miracles, UFOs, demons, angels, the devil, etc. UFO advocates claim that the Fátima events were actually extraterrestrial encounters that were misinterpreted, and the specific smell was alien.
The ufonauts and the religious apparitions like to make predictions: two of the small shepherds will die soon after the events, J.F.Kennedy will be assassinated, the pope was about to be killed at the Istanbul airport, there would be a blackout in New York, North America would split in two and the East Coast would sink into the sea, etc. etc.
Some of the predictions come true, some don’t. Two of the small shepherds (Jacinta and Francisco) indeed died soon after the Fátima events. Francisco died in 1919, Jacinta in 1920.
During the six months of the apparitions many conversions and healings were reported. The miraculous healings (of some physiological and psychological illnesses) often are associated with religious miracles, but also with UFOs, and other paranormal events.
According to the researcher Joaquim Fernandes, microwaves emitted from the UFO caused the intense heat, sudden drying of the ground and clothing of the people, and the miraculous cures reported by some of the witnesses.
Some researchers suggest that the Fátima events were a close encounter of the third kind, not a religious miracle. The Fátima apparitions of an angel and of Virgin Mary were actually a series of contacts with star creatures. The visions were in fact aliens or their holograms. Some people think that the close encounters of the third kind and the UFO sightings at Fátima and other sites were used by the church as religious propaganda.
If the solar disc was an alien spacecraft, it should cast a huge moving shadow on the ground, but no one reported such shadow. Since the supposed alien craft was with really huge circular dimensions (the prodigy was seen 40 kilometer away from the large field with 100,000 people) it should form a tremendous shadow, even if there was no sun in the sky. But as we know, flying saucers, demons, the devil, religious apparitions, etc. only rarely cast shadows.
It wasn’t an alien spaceship because despite the attempts of photojournalists the object in the skies could not be photographed and some of the witnesses could not see it. This very fact is a hard evidence that the sighting (religious or UFO) was psychological, not physical. Second, if the apparitions were actually aliens or their holograms, why did they have religious talks with the small shepherds, why did they show them religious visions, why did they make predictions with many religious elements, and wanted the people to erect a chapel near the place of the miraculous events. Were the supposed extraterrestrials from some alien church?
The mega-civilization in control over the humans created the religions as an integral part of the early societies and they are still an important part of mankind because it is still in its infancy.
Following this line of reasoning, it becomes apparent that the religions on Earth we consider human (most atheists consider religions a self-delusion of the weak human mind) or from god are actually imposed by some superior alien civilization.
The church considers these events religious miracles, and inconsistencies with the natural laws are part of a miracle. A miracle by definition defies the natural; this is an event that is contrary to the established laws of nature and attributed to a supernatural cause.
But there are other events with similar elements that are not considered religious or miracles. On the contrary, they are considered part of the natural evolution of the sentient creatures of the Universe. These are the UFOs, the alien abductions, the close encounters of the third kind, etc. Very often they also defy nature, and in most UFO cases there are inconsistencies (even absurdities) with the natural laws, and sometimes they are accompanied by religious and/or paranormal elements. There is also another group of supernatural phenomena that are not religious—observing and making contact with fairies, gnomes, demons, harpies, minotaurs, sirens, etc.
The question here is what and why is causing such extraordinary events? Does something or someone control human consciousness, behavior, and development? Religion’s answer to this question is positive—yes, there is God, he created the world and all creatures, and He is in charge of everything. The miracles are a sign or a demonstration of His existence and powers.
Well, what about the UFOs? Maybe some gods prefer to demonstrate their powers and existence through the millions of sightings of UFOs, alien abductions, and extraterrestrial encounters? On the other hand, there is no single undeniable proof that the millions of UFOs are real extraterrestrial spacecraft.
To create a better theory and achieve a better understanding of such extraordinary events (and of the nature of humankind itself) we should analyze the triple phenomena: the religious, the UFOs, and the paranormal.
Some researchers suggest the Fátima events were result of a mass hypnosis.
In the case of mass hypnosis, there should be an operator able to hypnotize all these 100,000 people, some of them 40 kilometers away. But there was no obvious operator.
Hypnosis is usually induced by a procedure known as a hypnotic induction, involving a series of preliminary instructions and suggestions done by an operator. No one reported a person or something else talking to the crowds in order to hypnotize them. Can we assume that they were hypnotized telepathically? And who or what was that person or entity, possessing such an impressive power of telepathy: God, a man, an extraterrestrial creature, or something else?
The Scottish surgeon James Braid described in 1851 the hypnotic stage performance by a visiting American, George W. Stone,
“Persons in a perfectly wakeful state, of well-known character and standing in society, who come forward voluntarily from among the audience, will be experimented upon. They will be deprived of the power of speech, hearing, sight. Their voluntary motions will be completely controlled, so that, they can neither rise up nor sit down, except at the will of the operator; their memory will be taken away, so that they will forget their own name and that of their most intimate friends; they will be made to stammer, and to feel pain in any part of their body at the option of the operator – a walking stick will be made to appear a snake, the taste of water will be changed to vinegar, honey, coffee, milk, brandy, wormwood, lemonade, etc., etc., etc. These extraordinary experiments are really and truly performed without the aid of trick, collusion, or deception, in the slightest possible degree.”
A regular stage magician can make you see and meet the entire menagerie of UFOs, close encounters of the third kind, alien abductions, deities and demons, mythological creatures, etc.
Some individuals have reported reddened eyes, strange scars, or wounds on their bodies, etc. after such events, which they consider a hard proof of their encounters with the aliens or deities. A stage magician can make the same marks on your body. He can put a coin on your hand and say that it is red hot, and you will receive burn blisters.
The subconscious of man is very powerful and it could cause various wounds, scars, illnesses, and even death.
We see that human brain and mind are so constructed that they could be easily manipulated.
The human mind and body are so easily manipulated as if there is an instrument panel attached to the human brain. Why are humans constructed this way? Most probably to be controlled.
As for the predicted death of the two kids, the mega-civilization not only controls the mind of the people but also has a comprehensive knowledge of everything on our planet, including the health conditions of the individuals.
The Fátima events were a miracle (a show) with religious motifs staged by a mega-civilization. With some slight changes this could be an impressive UFO sighting and close encounter of the third kind.
On the other hand, there were left several absurdities or “mistakes” (the wind was blowing really hard, but strangely enough, the bushes and trees did not move or shake because of the wind, not all witnesses could see the solar miracle, etc.) when staging the events so that the thinking man could realize that the humans are under control and they are guided by a superior civilization that in some cases presents itself as god, spirits of dead people, angels, and Virgin Mary, in other cases as ufonauts coming from distant stars, or trolls and other mythological creatures. The human mind and science are still in their infancy, and the mega-civilization still offers us UFO and religious fairytales as it has done for the past tens of thousands of years.
The Fátima case was not a series of accidental events lasting for many months. It was a carefully planed and deliberately executed demonstration by an unseen master of humanity able to control the minds of 100,000 people. It was a message to the thinking man.
The striking events at Fátima, Portugal were a majestic spectacle that happened in the minds of the people only. The theater hall was full of spectators, but the stage was empty. A superior intelligence stages in the human mind religious miracles, UFOs, all sort of aliens, demons, angels, gods, trolls, etc. The Fátima events were a brilliant demonstration of the power of the masters of humanity. And the total dependence of the humans on their masters.
They are here and they influence us—the flying saucers, the numerous aliens from all sorts of planets and dimensions, the deities and their religious miracles, the paranormal phenomena, the fairies, the demons, and many other products of an extraterrestrial entity, which is the long hand of a mega-civilization. We can’t observe this superior intelligence directly but we can see its reflection in the phenomena it is displaying in our minds.
Sincerely Yours,

“Could the Mob change the parade route, Bill, or eliminate the protection for the President?
“Could the Mob send Oswald to Russia and get him back? Could the Mob get the FBI the CIA, and the Dallas Police to make a mess of the investigation?
“Could the Mob appoint the Warren Commission to cover it up? Could the Mob wreck the autopsy? Could the Mob influence the national media to go to sleep?
“And since when has the Mob used anything but .38’s for hits, up close. The Mob wouldn’t have the guts or the power for something of this magnitude. Assassins need payrolls, orders, times, schedules. This was a military-style ambush from start to finish… a coup d’etat with Lyndon Johnson waiting in the wings.” — Jim Garrison, speaking in Oliver Stone’s movie “JFK.”
The Hidden History of the JFK Assassination draws on multiple and alleged interviews with two dozen associates of John and Robert Kennedy, in addition to former FBI, Secret Service, military intelligence, and Congressional personnel, who provided supposed first-hand information.
The Hidden History of the JFK Assassination also uses government files, including the detailed FBI confession of notorious Mafia godfather, Carlos Marcello, to openly reveal what the authors imagine are those who killed JFK. Using information that appears to be undisclosed and never published before, the book uses Marcello’s own words to his closest associates to describe the supposed plot. The book consists of what appears to be a library of information concerning Lamar Waldron’s and Thom Hartmann’s belief about mobster godfathers Carlos Marcello’s and Santo Trafficante’s plot to kill JFK, as was discovered in problematic FBI CAMTEX files.
The authors tell of Marcello’s prison cellmate’s (Van Laningham) recorded interview/confession on the mobs’ murder of John Kennedy on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. The Hidden History of the JFK Assassination book also alludes to supposed new files and information that the authors claim were not available to Congress, which has seemingly only emerged in recent years, and supposedly and completely explains for the first time how Marcello and Trafficante committed and got away with the crime of the 20th century.

(The Hidden History of the JFK Assassination, Lamar Waldron, Counterpoint, 1919 Fifth Street, Berkeley, Ca. 94710, http://www.counterpointpress.com, 2013, 519 pages, $28,00). [1]
Waldron tells of an era when mob rule was immense, and Mafia Kingpin Carlos Marcello ‘owned’ “mayors, judges, governors, members of congress and senators.” Marcello employed his “own high-powered Washington lobbyist” and a “powerful Washington law firm.”
Marcello, says Waldron, didn’t need “approval from the national Mafia Commission before undertaking major hits.” This often included government officials who posed a threat (such as the 1954 murder of Alabama’s anti-mob Attorney General-elect). Marcello’s empire grossed about $2 billion a year.
The alleged break in the investigation of the murder of John Kennedy came when the FBI operated a wire-tape “sting” with Marcello’s prison cellmate, Van Laningham. The code-name CAMTEX operation ran from 1985 to 1986.

The overall review of the authors’ books, which included two earlier books Ultimate Sacrifice and Legacy of Secrecy, reveal:
Author’ s Note: -> The authors Waldron and Hartmann also use the same gymnastics and semantics to place the blame of the murder of Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr., on the mob as well, for many of the same reasons: these contortions are amply rebutted by critics, but are beyond the breath of this article. — S.E.
NAMING THE ASSASSINS
To the point: Marcello hired two European hit-men that were brought into Dallas, hidden by mobster Joe Campisi at his Dallas restaurant (the CIA supposedly verified that they had come into the US through Canada and from Italy). Waldron also says that assassin Jean Souetre was in Dallas on November 22 (and was actually an alias of Michel Victor Mertz). Waldron says that CIA operatives were also seen behind the Grassy-Knoll fence at that time (Page 10). CIA officer David Morales also claimed a part (page 2). Waldron also talks about hitmen Herminio Diaz and Charles Nicoletti, and one or two of Rosselli’s “trained Cuban exile sharpshooters.” Waldron specifically labels such accusations as “rumor” (p. 279).
Elsewhere, outside of Waldron’s tomes, Chauncey Holt (Self-Portrait of a Scoundrel), a forgery expert for the mob who produced Secret Service credentials for Dallas, and was confessed to be one of the “three hobos” taken off the railroad cars that day, told about CIA asset Aldo Vera, Charles Harrelson, Leo Moceri and Richard Montoya (Charles Rogers) also being behind the picket fence.

MULTIPLE CASTRO PLOTS
A fascinating aspect are the many Castro assassination plots that appeared surrounding the mob and the CIA; many mobsters or Mafiosos were also CIA assets ranging from Carlos Marcello to Jack Ruby to Lee Harvey Oswald. Concurrent Castro assassination plots which involved both the government and the mob makes one wonder who really was in charge in clandestine operations: Was it truly the “government/CIA horse” or the “Mob/CIA cart,” or visa versa?
A close alliance between the U.S government/CIA and the mobster empires seemed to be more than coincidental; more of a mutual attraction to both operating clandestinely for motivational purposes which “served to fuel the frustration of many Americans–and some members of Congress — that the Mafia seemed to operate with near impunity under J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI and the rest of the Eisenhower-Nixon administration…the Eisenhower-Nixon administration, including FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, had basically taken a hands-off approach to organized crime…one might think the Phenix City assassination would have caused the Eisenhower Nixon Administration to declare war on organized crime, but it didn’t. J. Edgar Hoover continued to turn a blind eye toward the Mafia in general and Marcello in particular.” (pp. 90-92.) Consequently, Waldron points out the Mafia’s use of “bribes” to control officials and business (pp. 464, 480).
The biggest collusion seemed to be the mutual interests in the assassination attempts of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro (638 murder attempts to date) by programs invented by both, the U.S government/CIA and the mob; the mob having lost lines of income from casinos and mafia-controlled business since their expulsion from Cuba. Those programs by both factions are described in this “short list”:

A CIA ASSET: Mobster Johnny Roselli
*******
X=X
TWO FACES OF THE SAME COIN
In the “mutual interests” of both the U.S government/CIA and the Mob to search out and secure clandestine “assassins” to use in these programs, a number of Mobsters became “CIA assets” and worked with and became employed in various ways by the CIA. The following is another “short list” of officials or entities that worked with the CIA (and other agencies) on plots and plans (many with mob connections):
Lee Harvey Oswald – CIA asset/Mafia/Naval Intelligence.
David Morales – CIA asset/Mafia.
Thomas Arthur Vallee – CIA asset/Mafia.
Tony Verona – Mafia/CIA asset.
Eladio del Valle – CIA asset/Mafia
Miguel Casas Saez – CIA asset/Mafia
Angel Dominguez Martinez – CIA asset/Mafia
Gilbert Lopez – CIA asset/Mafia.
Desmond Fitzgerald – CIA asset/Mafia.
Michel Victor Mertz (alias Jean Souetre) – CIA asset/Mafia.
Howard Hunt – CIA asset/Mafia.
Sam Giancana – Mafia/CIA asset.
Rolanda Cubela – CIA asset/Mafia.
Jimmy Hoffa – Mafia/CIA asset.
Antonio Veciana – CIA asset/Mafia.
David Atlee Phillips – CIA asset/Mafia.
George Joannides – CIA asset/Mafia.
Carlos Marcello – Mafia/CIA asset.
Santo Trifficante – Mafia/CIA asset.
Loren Hall – CIA asset/Mafia.
Guy Banister – CIA asset/Mafia.
Benard Barker – CIA asset/Mafia.
William Harvey – CIA asset/Mafia.
James O’ Connell – CIA asset/ Mafia.
John Roselli – CIA asset/Mafia.
Charles Nicolletti – CIA asset/Mafia.
Manuel Artime – Mafia/CIA asset.
Alberto Fowler – CIA asset/Mafia.
While the list may not be all-inclusive, and there will always been some debate of the CIA/Mafia ingredients which constituted the mixture, it does indicate the far-reaching integration of both CIA/government agents co-joined and aligned with Mob connections. Waldron occasionally peers into this alliance, when he tells on page 468:
“One government informant, Charles Crimaldi, said that Giancana was killed by someone who worked for the CIA, though the hit man was acting on his own and not at the request of officials. Since several CIA assets and officials also worked with the mafia, the hit man could have been someone with ties to both the mob and the agency.” Waldron also says on page 278: “…it’s also likely they weren’t the only shooters but simply the ones provided by Marcello.”
The reader will notice the constant “distancing” the two authors (Waldron and Hartmann) go through to separate the CIA from the skullduggery of the mob in various “not-really-the-CIA-did-it comments.”
Fortunately, the intimate and ‘far-too-close’ tight relationship between the Mob and CIA was seen in the comments of many researchers and mobsters together; in discussing events of the Kennedy election to the Presidency, the death of Marilyn Monroe, and, the assassination of John Kennedy, mobster Sam Giancana told his brother, Chuck Giancanna, of the hydra-monster alliance of the CIA with the Mob:
What about the assassination of JFK? …
Was it the Mob or the CIA?
“Mooney leaned forward: ‘Look, this is one of the Roman gods. This one has two faces…two sides. That’s what we are, the Outfit and the CIA…two sides of the same coin. Sometimes our government can’t do shit on the up-and-up. Sometimes they need a little trouble somewhere or maybe they need some bastard taken care of … Jesus, they can’t get caught doin’ shit like that. What if people found out? But we can. Guns, a hit, muscle…what ever dirty work needs to be done. We’re on the same side, we’re workin’ for the same things…we just look different. So…we’re two sides of the same coin…If you think we had Truman…let me tell you…we got this deal sewn up. Ike, all he does is play golf.'”
“‘So that’s what you like about the guy,’ Chuck teased.”
“‘Shit, he’s a pigeon…it’s Nixon that’s got the power. He’s the one with the backing of the big money, like Hughes and the guys in California and the oilmen in Texas … Hump says Nixon’s gonna call us if he needs a little hardball behind the scenes.'”
“From now on you can call me Sam Giancana, civil servant.”

Double Cross by Sam and Chuck Giancana. (New York: Warner Books, 1992.)
The following were excerpts from the book, America’s Corrupt War on Drugs–and the People, by Captain Rodney Stich, where he told of the multiple CIA/Mafia connections in crimes that involved money laundering, drug smuggling, and assorted clandestine activities.
One such informant was Richard M. Taus who had been a Special Agent for the FBI from 1978 to 1988, during which time he was assigned to organized crime and foreign counter-intelligence operations. He held the responsible position of relief Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) in the New York City area.
In addition to his FBI duties, Taus was a Pilot-In-Command (PIC) flying missions for the FBI’s New York Field Office. The New York Times Reference Book for the Year 1988 lists Taus under “FBI Events.”
In the 1980s he conducted an undercover operation as part of a group consisting of 17 special agents. He also held the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the aviation branch, U.S. Army Reserve. Originally, Taus was with the OSS and then the CIA and military intelligence.
DUAL CIA-MAFIA TIES
Dee Ferdinand, daughter of mobster Albert Carone of the Gambino crime family, described her father’s concurrent relationship with the Mafia, the New York City Police Department, and the CIA.
Dee pointed out that what she described was confirmed by independent sources, including Jim Rothstein of the New York Police Department and CIA operatives Gunther Russbacher and Oswald LeWinter. She filled in missing Mafia and CIA links that FBI Special Agent Richard Taus had suspected during his FBI investigations.
“Having grown up in a Mafia family and being friends with top Mafia bosses, Dee was very helpful in explaining the complex relationship between the Mafia and the CIA,” said Stich. “She explained details of her father’s activities as a CIA paymaster, moving money to and from the Mafia families in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, the CIA, the Mossad‘s involvement, and payoffs to the New York City police department.”
Taus had given Stich a list of some of the Mafia figures that he investigated. Dee Ferdinand said that some of the names were family members; “Angelo Ruggiero was my father’s cousin.” Neil Dellacroce was related to Ferdinand’s father, referring to Joe Percillia by his alias, “Joe Pickle.” Dee Ferdinand said that they were with the Genovese family and the Gambino family as they merged. They were also with the Colombo family.
Albert Carone was primarily connected with the Genovese and then with the Gambino family, and also the Colombo family through Joe Percillia. She said her father also had lesser connections to other Mafia groups.
A thorough reading of the book continued to demonstrate the close alignment of the government and mobsters.

ANTOINETTE GIANCANA
Antoinette Giancana not only said that there were strong ties between the CIA and the mob, but that her father, Sam, had been “running a scam in order to pocket millions of dollars in CIA funding.”
According to declassified CIA “Family Jewels” documents, a plan in 1960 between Miami Syndicate leader, Santo Trafficante, Robert Maheu, Johnny Roselli (a Los Vegas mobster) in developing a $150,000 plan to “remove” Castro. The plan apparently did not materialize; however, Giancana authorized using poison pills. Nominees Juan Orta and Anthony Verona, however, failed in their attempts.
“Verona requested $10,000 in expenses and $1,000 worth of communications equipment,” said MafiaWiki. “However, it is unclear how far the second attempt went, as the entire program was cancelled shortly thereafter due to the launching of the Bay of Pigs invasion.”

Assassination researcher, Robert P. Morrow, debunked the work of Waldron and Hartmann as a clever cover-up of the real motive of the murder of JFK: it was a “coup d’état” rather than a “mob hit.” Lyndon Johnson, the CIA and the shadow government of Texas oil men and Rockefellers, said Morrow, murdered John Kennedy. Morrow said that that fact is craftily hidden by Waldron-Hartmann from the readers view. Robert Morrow explained:
“The big problem with these ‘Mob did it’ scenarios is that:
“1. They either ignore or twist who Oswald was, which is really inexcusable today in light of so much good work by writers like Newman and Armstrong.
“2. They do not relay how the cover up actually went into effect almost immediately in Dallas, Washington and New Orleans: Which is something we can prove today.
“3. They do not explain what two keystones of the plot and the cover-up are: Mexico City and Bethesda.
“4. They do not explain why the cover up has lasted 47 years–which it has.
“5. They do not explain the reversals of policy that took place in Cuba and Vietnam, almost immediately afterwards. Dark Side of Camelot by Seymour Hersh and also Family of Secrets: The Bush Dynasty by Russ Baker.”

JERRY-RIGGED THEORY
JFK Researcher, Herbert L. Calhoun, likewise was critical of the authors’ “soft pedaling” of CIA’s Richard Helms’ “nest of vipers”:
“Helms is the only human being in the known universe with the omnipresence, panoramic overview of the whole assassination landscape, and meta-manipulative and operational skills and capabilities, to have been able to actually carry out all the various nested phases of the plots that were needed to end up with a perfectly orchestrated murder at high noon in Dallas on November 22, 1963.”
It was the CIA, said Calhoun, which carried out all the “necessary phases” of the assassination and cover-up, the botched autopsy, and even the murders of John Roselli and Sam Giancana — a jerry-rigged scenario by Waldron and Hartmann “that someone in the clock tower at Langley had to have murdered JFK. The JFK assassination was not just an intelligence operation, it was an intelligence operation par excellence, one of a very, very high order, perhaps the best ever.”
Calhoun pointed out the firing of Allen Dulles, Charles Cabell and Richard Bissell from their CIA “perch” also involved the twenty-two or so “back channel messages” sent between Sam Giancana and JFK by courier and shared girlfriend, Judith Campell Exner telling of the “trio’s” actions of treason in the Bay of Pigs operation.
“…it was because two of the key mob players were engaged in a ‘double game’ to inform JFK of the treason going on behind his back at Langley that the trio was fired and the head of the CIA snake was eventually cut off.”
Calhoun continued: “It was Langley, not the mob, not Lee Harvey Oswald that decided that JFK had to die. And to carry out that execution, it was also Langley that concocted an exquisitely complex, devious, and it must be said, elegant intelligence operation to kill both our President and our democracy.”

Boyce Harton’s comment about Ultimate Sacrifice and Legacy of Secrecy summarized the general consensus:
“Too little attention given to JFK’s back channel to Castro, and once again the evidence does not support the authors strong conclusions about JFK’s commitment to the coup, given the backchannel and given the authors seemingly predetermined view that the Mafia was more to blame than the CIA…However, this book suffers from the same problem as the last one. It assumes too much power for the Mafia and too little for the CIA.” –Boyce Harton, January 29, 2009.

THE FARM
Noted JFK researcher and author, David Talbot (founder and lead editor for Salon Magazine) told of disowned CIA Director, Allen Dulles, hunkered-down at a remote northern Virginia CIA facility called The Farm (an alternate CIA command post) during the whole murderous weekend when JFK and Lee Harvey Oswald were eliminated. Likewise, Talbot spoke of CIA-assassin- official William Harvey being flown into Dallas early in November 1963 from Rome.
“This is a remarkable sighting,” said Talbot, “because to place someone like William Harvey, the head of the CIA’s assassination unit, put there by Allen Dulles, in Dallas in November of ’63 before the assassination is a very important fact. The CIA, by the way, refuses, even at this late date, to release the travel vouchers for people like William Harvey.”

THE ALTERNATIVE CONSENSUS
The following are statements by Kennedy researchers that lay out a deeper, alternative and just as genuine Kennedy-murder-scenario (Kennedy63):
“Now, here is the sum of this reasoning: CIA dons military uniforms and ranks, works with national and international crime syndicates,” said Kennedy63, “and still has EXECUTIVE ACTION capabilities (worldwide). Given the wide and deep propensities of the CIA, how could anyone doubt CIA involvement? Washington and many local governments (most departments) were so corrupted by organized crime, favoritism, and deference to powerful people, which most people did what they were ‘told’ to do, rather than make life hard for themselves or family members.” — Kennedy63, March 24, 2014 at 9:25 p.m.
http://jfkfacts.org/assassination/did-mafia-bosses-admit-involvement-in-jfks-assassination/
“The Mafia-sourced explanation, the Unspeakable-rs think,” said Nicholson Baker, “is no more than a convenient blame-shifting distraction, a ‘false sponsor’ pushed on the public by the CIA to divert attention away from a much bigger plot that originated deep within the hard-right Invisible Government. (And to a limited degree, of course, they’re right: the CIA is an opportunistic fungus, and its apologists have often used the practice of ‘limited hangout’ to shield from public view its history of murderous screw-ups.).” — Dallas Killers Club-How JFK Got Shot, Nicholson Baker, The Baffler No. 25, 2014.

THE JFK HIT WAS SYSTEMIC
“I think that the hit was systemic, that the entire military industrial complex was involved. But this does not mean every single person working in military industry, or in government or the intelligence community. This system is hierarchical and compartmentalized; machinists, foot soldiers and filing clerks do their jobs on a need to know basis, and they need know very little.
“A systemic hit of JFK means that there was a consensus at the highest levels of government and business to remove Kennedy. A coup d’etat.” — Willy Whitten.
http://www.amazon.com/Legacy-Secrecy-Long-Shadow-Assassination/dp/1582435359
“That Allen Dulles exercised enormous power,” said James A. Warren on October 13, 2015, “and abused that power in myriad ways; that he ordered assassinations of undesirables abroad; that his CIA destabilized foreign governments in the Third World based on grossly exaggerated assessments of Soviet subversion; that he integrated high-level Nazi intelligence agents into CIA and West German intelligence networks—all these allegations are clearly borne out by the facts presented here, and confirmed by the work of many other investigators.”
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/10/13/did-allen-dulles-order-the-hit-on-jfk.html
JFK Assassination researcher, James Fetzer, concluded:
“But the mob could not have altered X-rays under control of medical officers of the US Navy, agents of the Secret Service, or the president’s own personal physician. Neither pro-, nor anti-Castro Cubans could have substituted another brain for that of JFK.
“And even if the Soviets had the capacity to fabricate movies comparable to that of the CIA and Hollywood, it would have been unable to get its hands on the Zapruder film. These things could only have been done with complicity from the highest levels of the American government.”
“Unfortunately, their scenario is completely ludicrous.”
“(1) After the abortive ‘Bay of Pigs’ fiasco, JFK had entered into agreements with the Soviet Union that the US would not invade Cuba, which he could not have been broken, even covertly, without profoundly tarnishing Kennedy’s reputation and that of the US.
“(2) There are more than 15 indications of Secret Service complicity in setting Kennedy up for the hit.
“(3) The autopsy X-rays were altered to conceal a massive blow-out to the back of the head and by adding a 6.5 mm metallic slice.
“(4) The home movie of the assassination was re-created to remove incriminating evidence, including that the driver, William Greer, brought the limousine to a halt after bullets began to be fired.”

NOT A TRUE CONFESSION
JFK researcher, Jeff Morley, said on March 24, 2014 that prisoner Van Allingham did not confess what the FBI said he confessed:
“But those claims are impossible to corroborate,” according to Anthony Summers and Robbyn Swan. (Summers was author of Not in Your Lifetime, one of the best books about JFK’s assassination. Swan was co-author of their book on the Sept. 11 attacks, The Eleventh Day).
“Two FBI agents who supervised the wiretapping of Marcello at a federal prison told Summers and Swan that Marcello never made the remarks attributed to him.
“Summers and Swan also found that Trafficante’s widow, his two daughters, and several friends and neighbors disputed Ragano’s account. So the ‘Mafia done it’ theory of JFK’s death lacks evidentiary support on a key point.”
http://jfkfacts.org/assassination/did-mafia-bosses-admit-involvement-in-jfks-assassination/
Jim DiEugenio typified the many critics of Waldron/Hartmann and he had devoted several reviews and analyses of their work pointing out the untrue, misleading and strained results of their tomes. He also found fault with the CAMTEX scenario.
Waldron alluded to the CAMTEX file as a startling new discovery of some sort (found in 2006), when, in fact, DiEugenio talked about being sent the file by researcher Peter Vea in 1997, ten years before Waldron and Hartmann found them, and before the authors claimed in Legacy of Secrecy to being published for the first time (page 46). Even Vincent Bugliosi referred to them in his book Reclaiming History (pages 658-659).
Vea and DiEugenio concluded that Marcello showed signs and conditions of Alzheimer’s disease, and by 1988-89, Marcello was in full deterioration from Alzheimer’s and a series of strokes that contributed to his sordid confessions to various people.
“And later on, when told about the jailhouse informant’s accusation that he had Kennedy killed,” said DiEugenio, “Marcello replied that this was ‘crazy talk’”. (Bugliosi, op cit p. 658.)
http://ctka.net/reviews/legacy_secrecy.html
CIA RELEASED DOCUMENTS
Noted JFK researcher, John Simkin, said the information Waldron and Hartmann received was typical of government disinformation:
“Lamar was a victim of a CIA disinformation campaign. These ‘leaked’ documents completely changed the direction of his work. He constantly told me that the CIA would officially release documents that would support his story. This never happened and as a result he was discredited. He is not the first researcher to suffer from so-called friends within the CIA.” — Jim DiEugenio, September 21, 2011, 6:53 AM.
http://educationforum.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=11208&page=3
Journalist, Anthony Frewin, was likewise skeptical of the “mob did it” theory (Marcello was promised early release for his cooperation with agents) and he said as much in “An Offer We Can Refuse” in Lobster Magazine where he also questioned the mentality of Carlos Marcello and accused the authors of “cherry-picking” the evidence to take the “heat” off the government (whereby the authors [Waldron/Hartmann] had been given all too much mysterious cooperation).
http://www.lobster-magazine.co.uk/free/lobster70/lob70-hidden-history.pdf
Noted JFK researcher, William Davy, also highlighted the fact that Florida Department of Law Enforcement special agent, Ken Sanz, while cooperating in the research on a book about mobster Santos Trafficante, also denied any evidence that Trafficante was the perpetrator of such a Miami assassination plot (which Edwin Black definitely proved to be a real plot, minus any Trafficante planning). Said Sanz: “In all the research I’ve done on the matter, I’ve never heard of such things; Never. And quite frankly, it’s fresh on my brain.” [2] –William Davy, 2010.
http://www.ctka.net/reviews/waldron_updated.html
Fellow JFK researcher, Joan Mellen, furthermore pointed out the occasions where Bobby Kennedy was not nearly as adamant in his opposition to Marcello as the Waldron/Hartmann authors campaign:
“Those who put forth this view forget that Bobby Kennedy was not entirely an enemy of the Mafia, for example, during Operation Mongoose, a 1963 effort to rid us once and for all of Fidel Castro, which Bobby pursued with enthusiasm. Bobby had his CIA assistant Charles Ford, aka Charlie Fiscalini, take a trip to Canada to locate organized crime hit men to assist in the assassination of Fidel Castro.”
STRAIGHT OUT OF LANGLEY
The biography of (the sometimes co-author and research adjunct to Waldron), Thom Hartmann looks like a scene out of the movie THE GHOST WRITER [3]:
Hartmann has associated with a spray of billion-dollar companies about the globe, “400 of the Fortune 500 companies as well as the NSA, CIA, and other government agencies.”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thom_Hartmann
Hugh Manatee Wins pointed out the obvious implications here: “Hartmann is so obviously a CIA asset…his two assassination books are right out of Langley…you didn’t know he’s a silver-tongued alphabet gatekeeper?” [4]

FREIGHTENING SIMILARITIES
Many investigators knew that the differences between how the Mob operated compared with the operation of the “strings” of popular government (that any dissimilarity existed as so much prosaic-isms and sophistry): when it gets down to the matter of power, control and greed, there is no difference:
Joy Pullman, managing editor of The Federalist, put it this way:
“The ultimate way to earn power over other people is to threaten not just their livelihood, but also their lives, and the lives of those they love. On that note, perhaps it’s appropriate to mention that the Internal Revenue Service and U.S. Department of Education each have their own SWAT teams.”
http://thefederalist.com/2014/06/26/the-age-of-mafia-government
Even closer, Code Zero website details twelve specific similarities between the mob and general government structure (as it is today):
“I’ve written here some the similarities I can see immediately without really giving it much thought and you may agree that it is a frighteningly close comparison.

[1] Lamar Waldron’s recent book is part of a trilogy, Ultimate Sacrifice (2008), co-authored with Thom Hartmann, and Legacy of Secrecy (2013), Counter Pointe Publishers. We will refer to all three at frequent points throughout this article as a composite thesis.
[2] William Davy also said: “Further, there is an almost pathological use of conditionals; may have, perhaps, could have, if, etc. Conversely, there is an overabundance of hackneyed declaratives where conditionals should have been used, as well as an over-reliance on unnamed sources. And yet this dogged pursuit and elucidation of the documentary record is supposed to be the sine qua non of these two books. (Along with the dubious information they gleaned from interviewing Cuban exile Harry Ruiz Williams).”
This appears to be true in all of the Waldron/Hartmann books (SE).[3]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ghost_Writer_(film)
“The Ghost Writer (released as The Ghost in the United Kingdom and Ireland) is a 2010 British political thriller film directed by Roman Polanski. The film is an adaptation of a Robert Harris novel, The Ghost, with the screenplay written by Polanski and Harris. It stars Ewan McGregor, Pierce Brosnan, Kim Cattrall, and Olivia Williams”…(the movie demonstrates the twists and turns of CIA undercover skullduggery: some scenes)
(After several clues found by the previous ghost-writer before his death, the new writer investigates leads that tell him his predecessor had discovered a CIA connection in which a Professor Paul Emmett had been training Lang’s wife as a CIA plant. The new writer [having traced Emmett’s CIA background on the Internet] confronts Lang while in flight and is rebuffed.)
“Upon leaving the aircraft, Lang is assassinated by a British anti-war protester, who is in turn shot by Lang’s bodyguards. Nevertheless, the writer is asked to complete the book for posthumous publication, as in light of Lang’s death it will be a certain best-seller.
“Amelia invites the writer to the book’s launch party in London, where she unwittingly tells him the Americans tightened access to the book, as the ‘beginnings’ contained evidence threatening national security. She also tells him Emmett was Ruth’s tutor when she was a Fulbright scholar at Harvard. The writer realizes the clues were hidden in the original manuscript in the opening words of each chapter, and discovers the message: ‘Lang’s wife Ruth was recruited as a CIA agent by Professor Paul Emmett of Harvard University.’ He concludes that Ruth shaped Lang’s every political decision to benefit the U.S.A. under direction from the CIA.
“The writer passes a note to Ruth telling his discovery. She unfolds the note, and is devastated. When she sees the writer raising a glass, she is kept from following him by Emmett and other assistants. As the writer leaves the party he attempts to take a taxi. Then, as he crosses the street off-camera, a car accelerates in his direction, and sound effects and flying papers indicate that he has been hit.”
[4] Waldron and Hartmann pin high-hopes on the disclosing of the so-called Kennedy assassination files in a few years. That this will actually take place, many are doubtful, and just as doubtful is the reality that the files will be uncensored, not tampered with, unblemished or manipulated.

Thus, the dominant capitalist interests not only structure the way the media report reality, they structure much of the reality itself. The ideological character of the news, then, is partly a reflection of the journalist’s ‘routine reliance on raw materials which are already ideological’” — Inventing Reality: The Politics of the Mass Media, Michael Parenti, St. Martin’s Press, 1986.

“Marks continued to press the CIA for more MKULTRA information. He explained to me what then happened. A CIA official told him the following: in 1962, after ten years of mind-control experiments, the whole program—which supposedly was shut down—had actually been shifted over to another internal CIA department, the Office of Research and Development (ORD).
“The ORD had a hundred boxes of information on their MKULTRA work, and there was no way under the sun, Marks was told, that he was ever going to get his hands on any of that. It was over. It didn’t matter how many FOIA requests Marks filed. He was done. The door was shut. Goodbye.
“The CIA went darker than it ever had before. No leaks of any kind would be permitted.
“In case there is any doubt about it, the idea of relying on the CIA to admit what it has done in the mind-control area, what it is doing, and what it will do should be put to bed by John Mark’s statements. The CIA always has been, and will continue to be, a rogue agency beyond the reach of the law.”

Alexander Zheleznyakov
Translated by Mikhail Vorobyov,
Edited by Jeff Dugdale & Robert D. Morningstar
Background
About a year has passed since I wrote the article ”Gagarin was still the first” in Orbit no 51, trying to systematize and analyze rumours and gossip about flights into space which allegedly happened during the Soviet era but have been ignored in official history. Frankly, I had no idea I would have to touch upon that theme again, but “Man proposes, God disposes…”
That article had been written for Orbit at the request of its editor and it was first published there. To my surprise that publication provoked a keen interest in its readers. It was firstly re-published in Spaceflight magazine, then in Russian language newspapers of Canada and Israel having been translated back into Russian and, at last, was published in my country though considerably reduced.
After all that I’ve received many letters which made me take up the pen again. The volume of new information which added to what I had already known turned out to be very large. Most of all I was staggered having discovered many new facts which had never been mentioned or discussed anywhere. Readers reported about “what they had witnessed themselves” or “what they authentically found out from those involved in events which had happened”.
I’ve swept aside most of the information collected as quite groundless, but I tried to analyze those messages associated to real events and want to call readers’ attention to what I have learned.
One more remark – I had no idea that this occupation would fascinate me so much as I faced an entire “layer of folk creative works” .
All the information organically connected with the theme of last year’s publication and collected over the last several months is given below. I have tried to take a critical view of the possibility of the events rumoured and to express doubt as necessary – or do not comment on the information. Thus…
Manned flights before Space Age
There were many references to cosmonauts Alexey Ledovsky, Terentij Shiborin and Andrei Mitkov who supposedly perished in late 1950s attempting to make a space flight Those mythical men vied for the title “cosmonaut №0” as they had allegedly been in space before Yuri Gagarin.
I had also mentioned their names alleging there hadn’t really been such flights but that was reasoning without any documentary proof or otherwise.
Alas – throughout the last year I couldn’t prove those flights had been unreal. Nevertheless doubts about the official version denying possibility of such flights have crept even into my mind. Why has that happened and what’s the substance of my doubts
Firstly, it hasn’t been proved yet that there was not a flight by Ledovsky or Shiborin or Mitkov.
The publication of their real biographies would cancel many questions. It’s quite possible that they bore no relation to space but I have never doubted there had been military pilots with such surnames in the Soviet Air Force.
At times I’m staggered and annoyed by the absolute infantilism of the Russian Space branch’s chiefs who pass over that theme in silence. They have opportunities to prove Yuri Gagarin’s priority in space and so dismiss the doubts but they consider it unnecessary to prove anything to anybody out of their self-importance.. That’s why I have to do their work collecting the information in bits and pieces. What if I can’t do that?
Secondly, one of the arguments I used to prove the impossibility of manned sub-orbital flights in the Soviet Union was that a huge number of people would have to have been involved in those events. It seemed to me at least one of those people would tell something about those flights if it really had happened during the “glasnost” period in our country the last decade or so.
But as one correspondent reasonably objected to me: ”Yes, thousands of people were involved in that but they had to keep silence for over 30 years and only few of them are alive now.” This is a very worthy remark.
Thirdly, those letters brought to me new rumours and gossip which indirectly assume the possibility of pre-Gagarin flights into space.
Let me tell you about it in detail.
Most interesting amongst new areas of my knowledge were rumours about the existence of a group of pilot-cosmonauts to test rocketry in the Soviet Union in “pre-space Age” period. That wasn’t a cosmonauts group like that located in Star City near Moscow we used to know, rather a group of military pilots selected by fitness who took refresher courses periodically. They lived and served like other pilots of the Soviet Air Force but at any time could been recalled to execute “urgent tasks of the Soviet government”. Many actions, from sending military advisors group to an Asian or African country right up to participating as military servants in secret experiments fell under that definition then.
Ledovsky, Shiborin and Mitkov had been in that group according to the version I heard. If that’s true we have begun to realise why their names were to be connected with the failure of rocket launches.
Also I’ve heard about a woman Maria or Mira Gromova who was supposedly in that group too but perished in a rocket airplane disaster in June 1959. They often say that with reference to an unknown statesman of the Czechoslovakian Communist Party who told about some unsuccessful sub-orbital flights in the Soviet Union when visiting Italy in December 1959. According to him that woman pilot had fallen victim to one of those rocket disasters.
This is really doubtful since all groups of test pilots formed then for testing new techniques as well as the first cosmonaut group formed in 1960 included no woman for reasons of physiology. No exception for anyone had been made let alone for a secret sub-unit like our supposed pilot-cosmonaut group.
Other famous Soviet pilots like Kokkinaki brothers, Vladimir Ilyushin and others were also mentioned as members of that group. I wrote about V. Ilyushin in the first part of my article so there’s no need to repeat. As to other ones I am bound to say their belonging to a pilot-cosmonaut group was very unlikely as their names would have been too well known by that time, besides they were probably too old to “saddle the rocket”. If such a group had been created in fact only young pilots of excellent health and prepared to “hold their tongues” would have been admitted there.
Now about the purpose of such a pilot-cosmonaut group’s creation – the most important thing in that story. I’ve heard about two versions of it. The first suggestion is that it was making scientific and technical experiments, and a second that they were working on military aspects of applying rocketry. In accordance with the latter one, all the pilots had to provide on board guidance for a nuclear missile during flight. Automatic aiming systems were too imperfect to deliver the rocket’s fatal cargo to its target without human’s participation then.
This has something in common with rumours about experimental rocketry in the Fascist Germany where they also wanted to place pilots on board rockets to ensure hitting the American cities. Some sources allege that Otto Skortseni “the Chief Reich saboteur” even formed the group of kamikaze-pilots for executing such missions. It’s quite possible that such ideas coming from Germany caused the analogous rumours in the Soviet Union.
One more argument of my correspondents casting some doubts on the official version is the nature of the upper module of geophysical B-2A and B-5B civilian analogues of military P-2 and P-5 missiles. There hasn’t been published anything yet to tell us about the construction of those rockets upper modules and about experiments made by means of them. Everything is usually given in general outline with no details. Some things are described in detail but the content of most of those “scientific gear containers” is still kept a secret.
Meanwhile questions appear when we compare the only known parameters of the Soviet B-2A, B-5B and of American “Mercury” spacecraft on which Alan Shepard and Virgil Grissom performed sub-orbital flights. “Mercury” weighed 1300kg for what turned out to be enough to “jump” beyond the Earth atmosphere (it climbed 185-190km at maximum). B-2A payload’s weight to be hoisted to 212km was 2200kg and the B-5B one to be raised to over 500km was 1300 kg. So in the mid 1950s rockets had been flown in the Soviet Union with parameters analogous to those launched in USA in 1961. I don’t know if the others would do but I’d use such an opportunity then.
Yes, we have to agree the world isn’t an easy thing and we can’t believe in everything unconditionally. But the questions remain and only exact answering of them may shatter the rumours, gossip, suppositions and assumptions.
Let’s move from the 1950s and pass to another area where there is further information to impart.
Flights into space in the early 1960s
When speculating about “flights” of the first half of 1960s in my first article I enumerated some of the names that rumour connected with the Soviet space programme, such as Zaitsev, Dolgov, Kachur, Grachev, Belokonev and Ilyushin.
What new information have I obtained about those people who allegedly sacrificed themselves to conquer the Universe and about the events took place in early 1960s?
Firstly, the important addition to my research was listening to the records made by the Italian radio amateurs criticized by me. It sounded not too convincing frankly speaking and of course one may suppose anything having listened to those records especially if you have a good imagination. The most doubtful was the record of woman’s voice supposedly connected with the “flight and death” of the second cosmonaut-woman on 18th November 1963.
I felt at once that all that was said to have happened was improbable, so I asked for a psychologist friend to listen to that record. He concluded categorically the people don’t in the way suggested on the tape in an extreme situation and that the record was most likely a hoax. It felt like those Italians had been “set up” for some special reason.
To all appearances the “sting” didn’t work and there was no need to “expose” anyone.
Secondly, a group of names was connected with flights into space mentioned in some letters to me: Zavadovsky, Mikhailov, Kostin, Tsvetov, Nefedov and Kirushin, some of whom had been “buried” when those supposed 1961-1962 flights ended tragically.
It turned out to be easier to find out the truth about those people than about some other speculations. If the first two named remain “phantom-cosmonauts,” we can say for sure that the four others were rocketry testers, who worked on the ground – not in space -so they “have been buried” mistakenly.
In 1997, Viktor K. Kostin, Vladimir E. Tsvetov, Sergey A. Nefedov and Eugeni A. Kirushin were awarded the title “Hero of Russia” for their contributions to space exploration. Other former testers were awarded with The Order of Courage.
Here I give the names of some of those who, like cosmonauts, deserve to be mentioned in the history of cosmonautics: Emil Ryabov, Abram Genin, German Manovtsev, Mikhail Kuzmin, Robert Galle, Elena Sorokina. They paved the way to the Earth orbit and we can’t say their work was easier than being a cosmonaut.
Thirdly, I want to tell you in detail about Peter Dolgov who supposedly perished in September 1960 when according to rumour his space flight failed. Peter I. Dolgov was also a rocketry tester – a parachute tester and he was the first in the Soviet Union to put space suit on to test it via high-altitude parachute jumping. His final parachute jump ended tragically.
On the 1st October 1962, two years later than rumours say, Dolgov left the deck of “Volga” balloon at a height of 25,600 metres together with another tester Eugeni V.Andreev. Both them were equipped with space-suits and it had been proposed their parachute system would come into force after they reached a height of 1,600 metres.
Andreev was successful, but Dolgov wasn’t.
As Dolgov left the balloon’s car, the breaking wind forced him violently against the side of the capsule causing depressurization of his space-suit and causing instantaneous death.
The parachute system was indeed activated automatically and Dolgov reached the ground but he had died some time before. That’s the reality not rumour or gossip.
Fourthly, I’ve heard about a supposed plan to send a married couple to orbit. My correspondents gave the names of the couple as Ludmila and Nikolay (or Anatoly) Tokovy.
Most readers will readily guess what experiment they would have to carry out in space – but that supposition was so absurd in my opinion that it requires no explanation. They couldn’t discuss such delicate matters seriously in the Soviet Union of mid-1960s when that “unique” space flight was said to have happened.
Firstly, the technique wasn’t so perfect as it’s nowadays (though we don’t plan such experiment even now).
Secondly it would be illogical to divert attention to such bizarre experiment when the Moon race was still on.
And the last thing the correspondents told me about that period of space exploration was a kind of corrective information about the flight of the first woman into space.
One of Bajkonur veterans (though I doubt his credentials) alleged that “Vostok-6” was launched on 15th but not on 16th June 1963. He explained the 24-hour silence/delay as there wasn’t confidence that Tereshkova’s flight would be a success.
They supposedly informed the world “about another achievement of Soviet cosmonautics”, only when it had become clear there wouldn’t appear to be a problem. All that would be possible from a purely technical standpoint, but I see no reason for that.
However, it’s not so important if “the first woman in space” was launched to conquer the Universe on 15th or on 16th June.
Let me pass to the second half of the 1960s, again in the light of rumour and gossip that exists about the Soviet space program.
The Mysterious Death of Yuri Gagarin
The gossip reported below belongs to the “most absurd” category I’ve heard, not least because its “execution” would have been very difficult.
Gossip appeared owing to the riddles surrounding the disaster of the flight of an UTI MiG-15 aircraft, which happened on 27th March 1968 near the village Novoselova in the Kirzhach district of Vladimir region. It was reported that it was this disaster, which caused the death of Yuri Gagarin.
Some of the questions connected with that tragedy haven’t been answered yet, therefore suppositions of “how it was in fact” appear.
If we look through the recent Russian newspapers, we come across various descriptions of that event – from simple pilot error to interference from a UFO. But I’ve never seen published the version I’m going to tell you about.
In accordance with one of my sources’ supposition Yuri Gagarin perished 18 days earlier than the officially announced date accomplishing a space flight and not in air crash. On the one hand that hypothesis contains a lot of unreal and far-fetched things, but on the other hand it’s a fascinating rumour. In addition, I can say I’ve never heard that version before but I don’t claim I know all the variety of “the Soviet era folk creative works”.
So it’s alleged Yuri Gagarin perished exactly on his 34th birthday, 9th March 1968. I told you in my first article that “L1” № 6L spacecraft had been launched before that date aiming to circle the Moon and then return to Earth. The spacecraft was named “Zond-4” officially.
As to that version that spaceship was not unmanned as TASS reported:
“Its crew were Yuri Gagarin and Vladimir Seregin. The problems appeared some minutes after the launch. It became clear on reaching the orbit it was impossible neither to execute flight’s schedule nor to return the cosmonauts on Earth safely.”
It was decided to suppress the cosmonauts’ presence on board the spaceship in accordance with practice to suppress the failures, which then occurred in the Soviet Union.
They flew in nearly complete radio-silence mode talking with Earth by ultra-short wave transmitters only. Seven days after the launch, the spacecraft entered the dense layers of atmosphere and burnt up over The Bay of Guinea. Both cosmonauts perished.
It was impossible to hide the death of the first cosmonaut from the world so they organized an air crash with “MiG UTI-15”. The aircraft was piloted by two test-pilots who ejected just before the crash.”
What do the promoters of this version support their words with?
As a rule they use “The first cosmonaut of the planet” book, issued in 1981, for the 20th anniversary of the first flight of a man into space for it.
Many pages of that book describe the last days of Yuri Gagarin’s life in detail. They use exactly that period attempting to prove their hypothesis is true.
Let’s see what they say about it using the book’s quotations:
“On 2nd March 1968 Gagarin arrived at Baikonur to attend the ‘Zond-4’ launch”.
The version’s supporters allege that the cosmonaut arrived at the cosmodrome some days earlier for launch preparations and that date was given to explain his presence on the launch site. For the sake of argument, let’s assume that’s true.
“2nd-10th March Gagarin was at the cosmodrome to analyze the data being relayed from the satellite. He worked on his “Psychology and Space” book in his free time”.
The sceptics doubt Gagarin’s presence at the cosmodrome was necessary. If he really kept up with “Zond-4” flight but wasn’t on board it, it would be more logical for him to be in Evpatoria (where the Soviet FCC was situated then). It’s possible to agree with that and to trust their explanations – if we go with the hypothesis.
“On 8th March Gagarin called to Zvezdny to greet Valentina Tereshkova on International Women’s Day.”
The sceptics answer: “Why didn’t he do that on her birthday –6th March?”
Well, let’s assume that too.
“On 10th March he returned to Zvezdny”.
Why not earlier? – just a rhetorical question. But the sceptics convinced in their argument allege that the week which passed after the “Zond-4” launch was required to select and prepare the Gagarin’s double to appear in the presence of others until an official report about Yuri Gagarin’s death.
The fact was Gagarin twice met the people not related to cosmonautics (let alone his colleagues from the cosmonauts group) during the 11th-26th March period if we read that book attentively. It would have been possible for him to avoid those meetings. If so why they “did” they all occur ?
As you can see that version is well put together and it might have been accepted as the truth on examining some assumptions – if there were not some snags to it.
Firstly, the period between the “real” and the “organized” deaths of Gagarin provides us with doubts – it would be rather a long time but the problem would have to be solved very quickly. It would have been easier to organize an accident at the cosmodrome if necessary.
Secondly, just imagine the scale of the “screening operation” required to convince all the world that it was true. Imagine the expenses and actions co-ordination. What a skilled organizer he would have to be to organize all that? Very unlikely such a man could be found.
Thirdly, imagine the number of the people who would have to be involved, not a dozen but hundreds, thousands, and even more. And how do we explain that not one of them has said anything about that for 34 years?
That version of Yuri Gagarin’s death is scarcely credible though I give it some respect it in this article. The possibility of that being true is close to zero, but that scant possibility exists not because of our assumption of the possibility of such events but because there are many inconsistencies and unexplained facts remaining about the Gagarin’s death which do require analyzing and interpretation!
Rumours about manned space flights within the framework of the Soviet Moon programme.
Besides the rumours about “manned flight on board Zond-4” many other ones concerning the Soviet Moon programme existed in my country. Let me observe that many Soviet citizens guessed about the existence of the Moon programme analogous to the American “Apollo” one in their country 30 years ago when the Moon race was in full swing.
They discussed it a lot and all I heard about the technical aspects of the programme during those years has been confirmed. The difference of opinions on how many engines there were on the “N-1” Moon Booster couldn’t be considered a vital mistake. Even the “Moon cosmonauts’ ” last names had been rumoured and it turned out to be the truth. Gagarin, Nikolaev, Popovich and Bykovsky had been mentioned for example: all of them had been included amongst the twenty cosmonauts the Moon crews were to be formed from.
But all I heard in the 1960s was just a fraction of the “space” rumours circulating in the Soviet Union as I’ve now discovered. The people said “our cosmonauts have been on the Moon” or “our cosmonauts will just fly to the Moon.” The possible reason for such rumour appearing was that the Soviet people didn’t want to accept that the Soviets hadn’t been the first in the Moon race. If to remember the history of space exploration the Soviet Union could boast of so many “firsts”: the first artificial satellite, the first man/woman in space, the first spacewalk, the first Moon and Venus interplanetary stations. We couldn’t accept that someone had left us behind so those rumours became the “way out for power of dissatisfied mind of the Soviet people”.
Let me pass from the lyrical digression to what in particular was rumoured about the Soviet-American Moon race in the Soviet Union.
On 22nd April 1968 “Proton-K” №23-201 booster with Moon vehicle”L1”№7L was launched from Bajkonur. The launch was a failure and, as to the gossip, two cosmonauts on its board perished then.
If we simply analyse that specific rumour and compare it to previous one concerning supposed death of Yuri Gagarin’s in a “Zond-4” disaster, the disparities appear to make us doubt if those two rumours were true. There was only a month a half between the 2nd March and 22nd April launches and it was very unlikely the Soviet government would have insisted on a second potentially fatal space launch, if the first one had occurred. How cruel and reckless one would have to have been to allow such a things. One may refer to the “inhumane” methods of the KGB and the Communist Party for the time being but then must look for other arguments to support one’s words with.
That’s why we may strike one of those launches off “suspicious” ones list.
Some days after another Moon vehicle “Zond-6” had been launched (10th Nov.1968) the rumours started to circulate that two cosmonauts were on board. Moreover the name of one of them – Pavel Popovich – was given. It’s a surprise to say that the information appeared thanks to NASA staff. The “Zond-6” schedule envisaged working from many systems including vehicle- Earth communication lines. Cosmonauts Pavel Popovich and Vitaly Sevastyanov had been in Evpatoria communication centre and talked to FCC in Kaliningrad (now Korolev) of Moscow region using “Zond-6” as re-translation unit.
That exchange of communications had been recorded by the Americans, who thought at once that the Russians had flown to the Moon. All became clear soon but reporters found out about what had happened and, in some unknown way (maybe by broadcast of Western Russian language stations?) the information reached the Soviet Union.
It was clear that the Moon race came into a decisive stage after “Apollo-8” with 3 astronauts on board had circled the Moon on Dec.1968. That’s why the rumours about the Soviet attempts to leave the Americans behind in any way appeared.
The closer that the rumoured “Apollo-11” launch date was guessed about in the Soviet Union, the more frequent appeared the rumours of attempting to put the Soviet cosmonaut on the Moon.
The gossips alleged the following Soviet spacecraft to be launched manned: automatic station of “E-8-5” type aimed delivery of the Moon soil to Earth and perished in “Proton-K” booster disaster on 14th June 1969; ”N-1” booster launched for the second time on 3d July 1969; “Luna-15” automatic station launched 13th July 1969 (3 days earlier than “Apollo-11” was).
The Soviet people couldn’t resign themselves to their loss even when Armstrong and Aldrin made the first steps on the Moon. On those days the Moscovites rumoured that “the American Lunar Lander had been considerably damaged when landing and couldn’t launch by itself, but Soviet cosmonaut Porphyry Ebenov, who reached the Moon some days earlier, rescued the astronauts.”
They couldn’t give a transparent explanation how cosmonaut Ebenov had got the Moon. But anyone familiar with the Russian unprintable vocabulary understood the nature and “authenticity” of that rumour having read the cosmonaut’s surname (as it meant Fuck-man in English). Also “Ivanov” was given as his last name was mentioned but that would be as absurd as the Ebenov one.
Another rumour appeared in the early 70s telling us about a spaceship with two cosmonauts on board launched in the Soviet Union aiming to reach the Moon but which exploded after the booster stage had been activated. I can only suppose they meant one of two launches of automatic stations “E-8-5” type on 23d September and on 22nd October 1969 which couldn’t leave Earth orbit for the Moon. Eventually that legend was used for “Buried in Peace” episode of the American TV series “The Cape”. I want to point out that the rumour became the basis for film’s subject and not the other way around, since it appeared twenty years earlier than the film.
One more rumoured Soviet “manned flight to the Moon” was delivery of “Lunokhod-1” – to the Moon’s surface. Various versions of that event exist . As to one of them a dwarf was placed into the Lunokhod to drive it. He supposedly died on 4th October 1971, 11 months after the landing. That would be impossible even from the theoretical standpoint so there’s no point in analyzing that information.
Other versions also envisaged a driver’s presence inside Lunokhod but alleged that such a man lived for some days, perhaps even up to a month. Some people allege (and they’re sincerely deluded) that a dead cosmonaut’s body lies near Lunokhod because the cosmonaut shot himself when realized there would be no chance to return back to Earth.
I may be mistaken supposing that the Soviet TV-programme which told us about “Lunokhod-1” drivers caused those rumours, though it was mentioned that the “crew” was on Earth and drove Lunokhod through remote control. Somebody heard only the first phrase and the rumour about “the cosmonauts left on the Moon to the mercy of fate” started circulating over the Soviet land.
There was one more possible reason for such rumours appearing. The Lunokhod drivers passed medical tests at the Institute of medical-biological problems (IMBP – the main centre of space medicine in the USSR). They must meet strict health requirements there so the strongly perverted information about that spread over the world.
Let me remind you of the names of those people who drove the Lunokhod from Earth to do justice to them and to negate the rumours about the death of the Soviet cosmonaut on the Moon still exist among some people.
Two crews had been formed. They were: Nikolai Eremenko/ Igor Fedorov (commander), Gabdukhai Latypov/ Vyacheslav Dovgan (driver), Konstantin Davidovsky/ Vikenty Samal (navigator), Leonid Mosenzov/ Albert Kozhevnikov (board engineer), Valery Sapranov/ Nikolai Kozlitin (narrow-pointed aerial operator). Vasily Chubukin was a reserve driver /operator for both crews.
Let me round off my story about the Soviet Moon programme with this data.
The 70s and 80s
The Moon race finished, the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project and foreign cosmonauts’ flights within the framework of “Intercosmos” programme resulted in the Soviet space programme becoming more public and the rumours about “unannounced” manned flights began to dry up.
Only twice did such rumours circulate in 1970s and 1980s. The first one “placed” a cosmonaut on board Buran when its first and the only spaceflight and the second one alleged that three but not two cosmonauts as had been announced to officially arrive at the“MIR” station on one occasion, but the schedule for that unknown cosmonaut was so secret that the officials decided to pass it over in silence.
Conclusion
Let me draw my story to an end by commenting on some aspects of the “Soviet urban folklore” we’ve been hearing in our country for about 40 years. The information became more accessible and “white spots” were eliminated from our history so allowing the rumours about secret manned space flights to stop appearing in Russia. That happened because of absence of reasons for them, and of course the interest in space exploration waned among our people.
And Finally! … When collecting the materials for this article, I discovered that there had been existing rumours about unannounced space flights, and not only in the Soviet Union.
There’s a lot to say about supposed flights on rockets in the German Third Reich.
There are such rumours even in the USA, which differed from my country with its space programs being open to the public. But I’ll tell you about that another time !

AMERICA MOURNS THE PASSING OF APOLLO 14 “MOON WALKER”

*******
Early on Friday morning, February 5th, my friend Bob Reid notified me with the sad news of the demise of legendary Apollo astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, who passed away in Florida on February 4th, 2016 at the age of 85.
Every February 7th, I celebrate the life of the original “Flash Gordon” with a group of like-minded friends whose lives were touched, moved, inspired by the original Flash Gordon serials, starring the now-immortal science fiction movie hero, Buster Crabbe, who was born on February 7th, 1908.

*******
“Flash Gordon’s Birthday Dinner,” which I convene each year is usually a happy celebration, but today is different, tinged by sadness as I reflect on the passing of one America’s true Flash Gordon heroes, Apollo 14 astronaut and premiere “Moon Walker,” Dr. Edgar Mitchell, in Lake Worth, Florida last Thursday, February 4th, 2016.

Apollo 14 LM Pilot Edgar Mitchell traversing the lunar landscape
Mitchell’s “Moon Walk” lasted more than 9 hours & set a record that may endure through the 21st Century
Of course, as a young man growing up during “The Kennedy Era,” I knew very well of Edgar Mitchell and his legendary “Moon Walk.” However, more importantly, my interest in his flight was piqued further when I learned secret details of his lunar journey. Dr. Mitchell’s work became of life-long interest for me because, as a Fordham University undergrad studying (para)psychology at the time of Dr. Mitchell’s trip to the Moon, I became even more intrigued with his translunar experiences when I read in a major national magazine that while on the Moon and in his return to Earth, Edgar Mitchell had secretly conducted experiments in extrasensory perception, or ESP (as it was called then), including attempts at telepathic communications with friends and associates, acting as ” psychic targets” here on Earth to receive his telepathic transmissions from the Moon! That item was an amazing revelation for the times.
Although few details of the ESP experiments were given at that time, the simple fact that Dr. Mitchell, a world renown Apollo astronaut, had engaged in scientific ESP studies, instantly raised the respectability of ESP research as serious subject to be legitimately explored as Science (with a capital “S”). Furthermore, the revelation of Mitchell’s ESP experiments instantly elevated the status, legitinacy and respectability of the small group of dedicated ESP investigators and researchers of the paranormal ( including UFOlogists) who, in general, were largely shunned by science and scientists (small “s”) and who, held in disdain by mainstream science, had been relegated , banshed to “the outlands” of what was commonly labelled (and regularly debunked) as “fringe science.”
All of that changed on the day that a very “straight-laced” national news magazine profiled Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell, reporting his remarkable feats of strength endurance during his Moon Walk. Foremost in mass media’s attention was Mitchell’s world record set while walking on the Moon for more than 9 hours. That is a record that may stand for 100 years or, perhaps, for even longer, given the chaotic state of world affairs today, and the consequent retardation of manned lunar exploration for the foreseeable future.
“Something Really Big” Happened To Mitchell Returning From the Moon
As remarkable as the revelation of Dr. Mitchell’s translunar ESP experimentation was, there was an even more amazing, but glossed over detail in the magazine article, which gave me a hint that “Something Really Big” had happened to Edgar Mitchell during the Apollo 14 flight, something which was being “played down” at the same time that it was being reported.
I recall even now (after more than 40 years), the deep and curious impression that the reportage of this event made upon me, striking very strongly on a psychic level. I read the paragraph several times over as I sensed that there was a subliminal message in the account. I sensed that something of great significance was being veiled , (not quite hidden) but not ou in theopen. To me, the narrative implied something bigger than what was being told, and suggested in coded words, a vague description a cosmic event of some sort that had transpired during Mitchell’s journey back from the Moon.
Direct Contact With a Higher Form of Consciousness in Outer Space
I was intrigued by the magazine report that while returning from the Moon Edgar Mitchell had had a “peak experience” that involved a significant expansion of consciousness, one that was triggered by the sight of the Earth floating freely in space. The sense of euphoria he felt during that singular experience led Dr. Mitchell to enter a state of higher cinsciousness and gave him a sense he had made contact with a form of superconsciousness that tied all things together into One. It appeared to me that Edgar Mitchell had experienced direct contact with a higher mind, which conveyed a sense of Universal Intelligence. Hindu yogis desribe that state as arriving at “Samadi.”
Mitchell’s brief description of this psychic state had revealed to to the world the veritable existence of a higher state of consciousness, a higher state of mind, potentially attainable by human beings to arrive a unity with, Universal Mind, . The concept of One Mind that is all-encompassing in nature is not new. In point of fact, it is more than ancient. It is primordial, symbolized most readily by the image of “The Eye of Providence” or “The All-Seeing Eye.”

In ancient lore, to attain the “All-Seeing Eye” signified rebirth as Horus the Falcon …
The ancient Egyptian redeemer of Mankind
Arthur C. Clarke predicted in his novels, “2001: a Space Odyssey” and “Childhood’s End,” the eventual merger of the human mind with “Superconsciousness” to become The Star Child in “2001: A Space Odyssey,” but even his prediction is even more literal and dramatic in “Childhood’s End.”
The End of Mankind ( to be read here as “the purpose of Mankind”) foreseen by Arthur C. Clarke in “Childhood’s End,” will be marked by the the absorption of all minds into one great, overarching field of awareness, which is Universal Intelligence. Clark foresees that Mankind, having evolved in some future altered state into a telepathic global consciousness, literally a form of “hive mind,” will absorbed by a yet higher intelligence that is tantamount to God.
At that final moment of “Childhood’s End,” the Hive Mind of Mankind is by Clarke to be subsumed into an even greater, all-encompassing Universal Mind, a Ring of Power, perhaps symbolically signifying Clarke’s concept of the return of The Cosmic Christ to gather up the souls of the Elect quite literally into ….
UNITY:
One Mystical Body from The Alpha to Omega Point
In his apocalyptic scheme of things to come, Clarke’s end suggests a union with The Divine, i.e. a personal union with the Mind of God, Itself, as unified state of consciousness, which the Swiss psychologist C. G. Jung called “Mysterium Coniunctionis,” or “mysterious conjunction” the human mind with the divine prinicple in a mystical union with God.
The Jesuit scientist-philospher, Teilhard de Chardin referred to that same concept of a “Universal Mind” as the “Noosphere,” which means the Sphere of Knowing, or Universal Awareness, i.e Cosmic Consciousness, and from which the Institute for Noetic Sciences derives its name. Teilhard de Chardin’s own “peak experience, which occurred in Asia 50 years before Edgar Mitchell’s, gave Teilhard a vision of the Universe as a Single Living Being from its inception, called The Alpha Point, with a body composed in spacetime, growing, extending, expanding forever toward a destination to fulfill a universal purpose an end point called “OMEGA POINT.”
Of course, the magazine article did not state that “Edgar Mitchell has seen God,” but it clearly suggested that something extraordinary, and quite outside of so-called “normal” human experience had happened to Edgar Mitchell “out there” between the Moon and the Earth. It was clear that its import was great. Something unusual, smething extraordinary, something beyond the normal boundaries of the human experience had had happened to Edgar Mitchell while on the Moon and, more importanly, during Apollo 14’s transt through deep space to return to Earth.
For me, the wording and the phrasing, along with a marked reference to “peak experience” (a key word in vogue in psychology), a term coined by psychologist Abraham Maslow, was best known, “for creating Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, a theory of psychological health predicated on fulfilling innate human needs in priority, culminating in “self-actualization.” (SeeWikipedia)
These Maslowian ideas of “peak experience” and “self-actualization” (identical with “Centering,” “Self-realization, ““Enlightenment” or “illumination” in modern terms) were already familiar to me (as a student of parapsychology pursuing the same quest, seeking the very same goal, “self-actualization.” The mention of these concepts in regard to Edgar Mitchell’s experiences provided strong support for my belief in telepathic ESP and showed that in one sense or another, in a state of extrasensory perception, Edgar Mitchell had experienced what we called then and now …
COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS

That memorable report made of me a lifelong student of Edgar Mitchell’s work, the most important of which in my estimation were direct outgrowths of the “peak experience” that he had had transiting back to Earth from the Moon. These were Dr. Mitchell’s establishment and founding of The Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) for the exploration of human consciousness, as well as, becoming a strong global voice promoting the peaceful uses of outer space, and working with Carol Rosin for the De-Weaponization of Outer Space.
The Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS)
http://www.noetic.org/directory/person/edgar-mitchell
Just as President John F. Kennedy had donewith his contraversial Nuclear Test Ban Treaty in 1963 , Dr. Edgar Mitchell called for all nation to ban the proliferation nuclear weapons (or Star Wars technology) in outer space.
As Wikipedia recounts:
“Mitchell’s interests included consciousness and paranormal phenomena. On his way back to Earth during the Apollo 14 flight he had a powerful savikalpa samādhi experience,[13] and also claimed to have conducted private ESP experiments with his friends on Earth.[14] The results of said experiments were published in the Journal of Parapsychology in 1971.[15] He was the founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) for the purpose of consciousness research and other “related phenomena”.[16] On the Opie and Anthony radio show, Buzz Aldrin described a psychic communication experiment that Mitchell conducted during the Apollo 14 flight, wherein Mitchell attempted to transmit information to participants on Earth.[17]
Wikipedia continues: “Mitchell claimed that a teenage remote healer living in Vancouver and using the pseudonym “Adam Dreamhealer” helped him heal kidney cancer from a distance. Mitchell said that while he never had a biopsy, “I had a sonogram and MRI that was consistent with renal carcinoma.” Adam worked (distantly) on Mitchell from December 2003 until June 2004, when the “irregularity was gone and we haven’t seen it since”.[18] “
*******
I finally got to meet Dr. Mitchell more than 30 years later, on January 30th, 2003, when he lectured at The Explorers Club in New York City, just 2 days before the tragic loss of Space Shuttle Columbia.
It was there at the Explorers Club that I heard Dr. Mitchell recount in great detail the circumstances surrounding his “peak experience,” which I had a chance to discuss with him that very night. Our exchanges at The Explorers Club began a 13-year long friendship and correspondence that lasted through this week, and I would add that if his translunar ESP experiments were successful (as they appear now to have been), I pray that our correspondence may yet continue for a while as we both know with certainty that we don’t need postage stamps for telepathic contact, we just need the right envelope.
A score of friends and fans of Dr. Edgar Mitchell have contacted me expressing their commiseration, sharing sympathies and the experiences that they had Dr. Mitchell over the years.
UFO Digest salutes Dr. Mitchell as he crosses the bar, and in tribute present this memorial page to him and the historic achievements of the Apollo 14 astronauts.

A PEAK EXPERIENCE
A peak experience is a moment accompanied by a euphoric mental state often achieved by self-actualizing individuals.[1] The concept was originally developed by Abraham Maslow in 1964, who describes peak experiences as “rare, exciting, oceanic, deeply moving, exhilarating, elevating experiences that generate an advanced form of perceiving reality, and are even mystic and magical in their effect upon the experimenter.”[2][3] There are several unique characteristics of a peak experience, but each element is perceived together in a holistic manner that creates the moment of reaching one’s full potential.[4] Peak experiences can range from simple activities to intense events;[5][6] however, it is not necessarily about what the activity is, but the ecstatic, care-free feeling that is being experienced during it.[7]

Edgar Mitchell’s Apollo 10 UFO ![]()
Below is a high resolution photograph taken by Edgar Mitchell while on the surface of the Moon, showing an anomalous (UFO) object that approached the Apollo 14 landing zone during his Moon Walk.
AS14-68-9472HR

The photo shown above (AS14-68-9472HR) was taken by Edgar Mitchell as he shot a series of panoramic photos of the lunar landscape. I first brought this photo to Ed’s attention in 2008, and again 2 years later, when we discussed the “sky object” again in greater detail when I shared my enlargements and enhancements with him during a conference call with him and fellow astronaut in 2010.

The Apollo 14 Sky Object – Close Up
Robert Morningstar’s Enhancement of AS14-68-9472HR
To avoid “leading the witness,” whenever Ed and I discussed this photo, on the phone or in emails, I refrained from ever calling it a “UFO,” and so, for our mutual comfort in discussing it, I dubbed it “The Apollo 14 Sky Object,” or simply “the sky object.”
The image I’d shared with Ed in 2008 was not the enlarged enhancement and so, when I sent him the images shown above via email, as we spoke on the phone, when he opened the file, I was delighted to hear him exclaim on the other side with some measure of excitement :
“Hey, Robert! There really IS something there!”
(Smile) … Ed agreed that the sky object was indeed “anomalous” …
Perhaps it was something floating down that fell off the spacecraft…. (smile again).
And so today I say:
Farewell to my friend & captain…
Godspeed, Edgar Mitchell … Turn right at the first star, Gliese 876-c , and then go straight till morning!
We shall meet again at Alpha Mensae.

Thanks for all you are doing for Edgar. It will be wonderful to be included (in UFO Digest’s tribute) …
I sit here with our forth coming book on my lap, in tears thinking about my best friend in all this work for so many decades dedicated to maintaining the peace in space for peace on Earth since we started collaborating in ’74.
Ed’s been so hoping Russia and China leaders will again champion the updated treaty ASAP that will ban all space based weapons so human conscious will rise and we can live sustainably and explore to learn more about ourselves and our cosmic neighbors.
Ed knew there are no enemy ETs … always repeating “there is zero evidence of that” and always supporting the Treaty signing, always trying to educate everyone about the vital importance of preventing the weaponization of space and the serious relevance of that to our being able to survive sustainably, and so humans can move in peace into the cosmos for all the benefits and opportunities.
This will bring undreamed of benefits to Earth as we learn more about who we really are, and where we stand in the Universe.
Edgar’s intelligence, courage, heart and his determination to get this message across, about the importance of keeping the peace in space “out there,” amidst the same OL’ rumors, ridicule and disinformation, is an inspiration and will be forever to so many of us – on Earth and those in space❣

“Crossing the Bar”
By Alfred Lord Tennyson
Sunset and evening star
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For though from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.
*******
Summary of a Life – “Crossing the Bar”
The speaker heralds the setting of the sun and the rise of the evening star, and hears that he is being called. He hopes that the ocean will not make the mournful sound of waves beating against a sand bar when he sets out to sea.
Rather, he wishes for a tide that is so full that it cannot contain sound or foam and therefore seems asleep when all that has been carried from the boundless depths of the ocean returns back out to the depths.
The speaker announces the close of the day and the evening bell, which will be followed by darkness. He hopes that no one will cry when he departs, because although he may be carried beyond the limits of time and space as we know them, he retains the hope that he will look upon the face of his “Pilot” when he has crossed the sand bar.

THE MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF DR. FRED BELL
By Brad and Sherry Steiger
<Edited by Robert D. Morningstar>
Dr. Fred Bell, Renaissance man, inventor, eclectic thinker, and controversial scientist and futurist, died on September 25, 2011, within two days after giving an interview to Jesse Ventura for the program Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura on TruTv.
Ventura, former professional wrestler, actor, author, Governor of Minnesota, and conspiracy theorist told talk show host and fellow conspiracy theorist Alex Jones that Bell “dropped several bombshells” during the interview which dealt with such topics as Dr. Bell’s work as a consultant to a death ray project. Bell had stated that after he left his work as a NASA rocket scientist, he advised a team working on a “secret beam weapon,” a literal “death ray” that could cause great destruction.
Some conspiracists, familiar with Bell’s work, noted that he was considered an expert on Remote Neural Monitoring and Synthetic Telepathy and how it is being used covertly by the government.
Dr. Bell had disclosed that the secret agencies of the government had technology that had the ability to record people’s electrical impulses from their body and uplink them to a satellite. A specific person under surveillance can be tracked anywhere and his/her thoughts can be read and even reprogrammed remotely. According to Bell, the symptoms of electronic harassment may include unusual forgetfulness, suicidal, or homicidal thoughts, panic attacks, depression, and paranoia.
Confusion Weaponry
“Confusion weaponry” uses frequencies or impulses to disrupt thoughts. Bell also warned about the advancement of satellites, which can knock things out of the sky with EMP pulses. Law enforcement is developing devices to remotely shut down the electronic ignition of cars they’re chasing.
According to certain of our correspondents, Bell’s fiancée was with him in the hotel room the morning he died. He was carrying some coffee when he suddenly fell to the floor and began making odd noises. His fiancée called for help, and Bell was taken to a nearby hospital where he was diagnosed with an enlarged heart. The doctors were unable to help him, and he was pronounced dead.
Jesse Ventura was quoted as saying that every once in a while some thing happened to him that shakes him to his core. Dr. Fred Bell dying two days after their interview, he noted, was one of those moments.
“The coroner says it was ‘natural causes,’” Ventura said. “Maybe it was, but it seems like a lot of people involved with death ray technology end up dead. Is the death ray used as a weapon? Was it used to take down the towers on 9/11? … I don’t know, but it is the most logical explanation I’ve heard so far.”

We were shocked to learn of the sudden death of our longtime friend and associate Dr. Bell. He was the subject of The Promise, a novel based on Bell’s life and work, written by Brad, The Fellowship, a nonfiction study of UFO contactees written by Brad and edited by Sherry featured Dr. Bell; and Starborn written by Brad and Sherry made reference to his work. Dr. Bell was working on The Inside Track, a book to “pull the lid off of everything” currently held secret by “the Powers that be.”
Dr. Bell was a practicing naturopath, scientist, environmentalist, and political activist, who worked worldwide with programs for autistic children and other mental and physical problems that affect the growth factor of our young. He spent 20 years with the National Health Federation, a U.S. based group that has promoted an individual’s freedom to choose the type of health-care, as well as the various vitamins, minerals, and dietary supplements that work best for them.
Dr. Bell invented the famed and patented Nuclear Receptor. One of his most recent inventions, the Andromedan Holographic Projector, allows the operator to manipulate space and time conditions. Another of his latest inventions, the X-1 Healing Machine, allows the human body to heal itself in a matter of seconds instead of taking several months.
The concept of the X-1 Healing Machine was developed as an add-on to the original Depolaray Machine developed by Thomas Holson and Fred Hart in 1947. Victims of electronic harassment can use one of his recent inventions, the QBAM (Quantum Biological Administrating Machine), a quantum healing device which employs counteraction technology to block energy or absorb microwave radiation.

Fred Bell was born in Ann Arbor Michigan on August 10, 1943. According to his official biography, his father was a scientist who worked with the late Henry Ford, Sr. His great uncle on his father’s side was Alexander Graham Bell, and on his mother’s side, he was a direct descendant of Ethan Allen, the folk hero of Vermont during the American Revolution.
Dr. Bell speculated that as a result of this “strange genetic gene pool,” he had a tendency to be a “revolutionist with wild and crazy ideas…… a bit of an eclectic eccentric.”
Dr. Fred Bell was propelled into science at a very early age. At age 14, he was not only working at the University of Michigan on nuclear energy projects, but was also inducted into the U.S. government’s notorious CIA project called “MKULTRA.” This early (and Top Secret) mind-control research covered such topics as past-life regression and the popular remote viewing techniques used today by the CIA and other intelligence gathering factions worldwide.
While working at the University of Michigan, Dr. Bell had the privilege of working under the mentorship of Dr. Katz. Dr. Katz came to the United States, along with such German scientists as Wernher von Braun, under the U.S. government’s highly secret program Operation Paperclip.
At 16 years of age, Fred Bell interned at the United States Army Biological Weapons Division in Little Rock, Arkansas. On his 17th birthday, he was transferred into the United States Air Force where he began working on highly classified projects, several involving early warning radar defense systems and the detection and tracking of extraterrestrial craft.

Dr. Fred Bell
In the YouTube video linked below, Dr. Fred Bell goes into great detail describing his career in science and aerospace, including his direct contact with ET technology and with ETs directly. Dr. Fred Bell answers the important question:
After he left the defense sector, Bell began studying with Himalayan Masters. During this time he became internationally known as a contactee to a Pleiadean group of extraterrestrial humanoids who claimed to have come here to help the people of earth save themselves from their own destructive tendencies. Dr. Bell claims to have been in direct contact with a Pleiadean extraterrestrial called “Semyaza.”
*******
*******
This group of extraterrestrials who are called “The Pleiadeans” allegedly came to Earth from a star system 500 light-years from Earth. For this effort at direct contact with an alien race, a Russian society of cosmonauts (astronauts) awarded Dr. Bell the distinguished scientific progress award.
Just prior to the catastrophe of 9/11, Dr. Bell was working with Dr. Steven Greer in de-compartmentalizing the various agencies that are working in concert with extraterrestrials on such projects as advanced propulsion systems and star wars weaponry.
This project, headed by Dr. Steven Greer, known as The Disclosure Project, was being presented to the United States Senate on the very day of the 9/11 Attacks in New York, Pennsylvania and The Pentagon in Washington D.C.

What is an AS/PFN-35 Radar Guidance ALS?
The reader may well wonder how could an AS/PFN-35 Radar Guidance ALS be related to the collapse of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and the Pentagon attacks of 9/11?
http://www.spsnavalforces.com/story.asp?mid=28&id=3
The following is a description of the AS/PFN-35 Radar Guidance ALS (Automatic Landing System), courtesy of the Federation of American Scientists (FAS):
AN/SPN-35 Aircraft Control Approach Central
“The AN/SPN-35, installed on the Tarawa-class amphibious assault ships, is a computerized automatic landing system radar that provides precise control of aircraft during their final approach and landing.
The equipment can automatically acquire, control, and land a suitably equipped aircraft on aircraft carriers under severe ship motion or weather conditions.
The AN/SPN-35B is a short-range, three-dimensional, carrier-controlled-approach radar system used for precision landing approaches during adverse weather conditions. The AN/SPN-35B may also be used for height-finding and radar surveillance of aircraft.
The AN/SPN-35B displays both azimuth and elevation data on a radar control-indicator enabling the radar operator to direct the aircraft pilot along a predetermined glide path and azimuth course line to a carrier-controlled-approach optical landing system transition point one mile from the ship.”

Editor’s Note: If the reader is still puzzled or bemused by Dr. Bell’s association of the AN/SPN-35 with the 9/11 Attack that brought down the World Trade Center Towers, the following phrase, extracted from the FAS description given above, may clarify the association and its implications:
“The AN/SPN-35 … is a computerized automatic landing system radar that provides precise control of aircraft “during their final approach” …
directly to its LZ (“Landing Zone”) on ship or shore.

Editor’s Postscript on …
It is an interesting and most curious coincidence that the name “Semyaza” is identical to the name given by the Pleiadean ET who contacted the renown Swiss UFO photographer of so-called “Pleiadian ships”, Billy Meier in the 1950s-60s. The name is also spelled “Semjase.”

Samyaza, Enoch & “The Watchers”
Remarkably, the Plaiedean alien who was in contact with Dr. Fred Bell bears exactly the same name as one of the principal leaders of “The Watchers” (aka, “The Fallen Angels”) who are vividly described in “The Book of Enoch,”and is named as their principal leader. Semyaza and another Watcher named Azazel are named as the ringleaders of an angelic ebellion that created the giants and other Angel seed-cum-Human hybrids. Readers should also take note that Dr. Bell explicitly states that Pleiadeans may live for as long as 1500 years to several thousand years.

From the Earth to the Moon: Rockets, Satellites and Other (UFO) Spacecraft

Abstract
Major satellite launches have often been followed by UFO sightings soon afterwards, for example, after Sputnik I and II in 1957. In Ottawa, Canada, UFOs were seen on March 3, 1969 after the Apollo 9 launch, on June, 5, 1969 after a suborbital (failed launch) to the moon by the Soviet Union, and in July, 1969, as Apollo 11 orbited the moon. These correlations, among others, suggest that major rocket launches, especially those extending out of near-Earth orbits, tend to stimulate UFO activity.
Introduction
Major rocket launches have often been followed by UFO activity, possibly coordinated from outposts on the moon (Lorenzen, 1966, pp. 266, 267).
By 1969, however, there were so many rocket launches and UFO sightings that any attempt to establish correlations between them would be difficult. A decade earlier, there were fewer objects in orbit, though many suborbital flights were still taking place in the late 1940s. To establish the proper sequence of events in this article, Universal Time (designated Z for Zulu) will be given, as well as some local (24 hour time) equivalents (in parentheses).
Following the launch of Sputnik 1 from Baikonur, which the Encyclopedia Astronomica (1957) recorded as onOctober 4, 1957 at 19:28 Z (Oct. 5, 0:28 local time), Lorenzen (1966, p. 65) reported that a 23 year-old farmer in Brazil, Antonio Villas-Boas, observed a nearby area “…lighted as if by a giant searchlight” at about 11 p.m. local time (Oct. 6, 02:00 Z).
This observation was therefore made 30 hours, 32 minutes after the Sputnik I launch. Subsequently, while plowing a field on October 14, the same farmer saw a cartwheel-shaped UFO about 122 meters (400 feet) off the ground, an observation suggesting a UFO for the earlier Oct. 5 source of light.
UFO activity spiked after the launches of Sputnik I and II, as numerous reports in the NICAP 1957 Sighting Wave Chronology (2014) reveal. Only 1.5 to 4 hours after the Sputnik II launch on Nov. 3, 1957 at 2:30 Z, for instance, a glowing egg-shaped object landed on roads and stalled car engines near Levelland, Texas; on Nov. 4, a UFO was tracked for 20 minutes on radar and was seen by two people at Kirtland Airforce Base (Hynek, 1972; Encyclopedia Astronomica, 1957).
Also on Nov. 4, 1957 at 05:03 Z a large disc-shaped UFO with an orange glow descended at an army garrison at Itaipu, near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and produced a wave of heat that struck two soldiers, causing first- and second degree burns to 10 percent of their bodies (Lorenzen, 1966).
In some UFO cases, the time lag between a rocket launch and a UFO sighting has been relatively short.
For example, a UFO tracked a Polaris missile during test firing on January 10, 1961; similarly in 1964 soon after another launch, a UFO intercepted an Atlas rocket (Dolan, 2000; Fox & Coleman, 2007). Most surprisingly, perhaps, only four minutes after launch of a rocket carrying China’s first female astronaut on June 16, 2012, an infrared video camera recorded two glowing UFOs nearby (Good, 2013). If it is assumed that UFO responses are coordinated from a Moon base, then launches made from the side of the Earth hidden from UFOs on the Moon would not be as rapid (and the launch site would be obscured), as if they were made from the side of the Earth facing the Moon. These relationships could explain different time lags between rocket launches and UFO sightings, though this would assume that the UFOs were all stationed on the Moon at launch times.
March 4, 1969, Ottawa, Canada
Less than 34 hours after launch of Apollo 9 on March 3 at 15:00 Z , a round UFO was observed on Parliament Hill by seven RCMP officers between 0:45 and 2:34 Z. Twenty-six minutes later another RCMP officer reported two red flashing lights in the sky above Sussex Drive without any associated engine noise (Bondarchuck, 1979).

June 4 to 6, 1969 Rocket Launches
In addition to the three rocket launches on June 5 described by Nentwich (2008), there was a fourth launch, namely aSoviet Luna mission to the Moon, which failed to achieve orbit.
http://www.ispyspace.com/1967_to_1974.html
Although this launch was excluded from Clark’s (1977) list of Luna launch failures, Greg Kennedy, compiler of the online “Chronology of Human Space Exploration Part 5: 1967-1974” informed me in an email on Oct. 17, 2008 that the ‘Mission Planner’s Manual Proton Commercial Launch Vehicle’ document, printed in 1989 by the Space Commerce Corporation in Houston listed the launch on June 5th, with the note that the second stage failed, while the 1996 TRW Space Log listed the same launch as June 4th, also pointing out that it failed to orbit.
http://www.ispyspace.com/1967_to_1974.html
The ideal time for this launch, as given in a “1969 June 1 – Soviet lunar plans”, would have been June 3, 1969 at 23:18 Z, and because Soviet lunar launches were usually within an hour of the ideal time, as noted by Clark (1977), an early June 4th launch seems to be the most likely. In fact, Sokolov (2001) confirmed the Luna launch on June 4 or earlier, stating that because of an electrical problem (p. 461) “…the upper stage could not fire. The complex fell into the Pacific Ocean.”
In addition, he pointed out that another rocket was launched after Luna on June 4, 1969 which reached a height of only 100 metres, at which point it exploded with a power of about ten (10) kilotons! <Editer’s note: The Hiroshima A-Bomb aproximately equaled 20 kilotons>
Could this explosion have caused a UFO response as well?

June 5, 1969 UFOs in South and North America
A resident of Uba, Brazil was driving in a car with six passengers when at 09:00 Z their car was “…pursued by a bright orange-colored object which flew around in circles above them, producing interference with the car radio and stopping the engine for a few moments” (Flying Saucer Review Case Histories, 1971, p. 16; UFOCAT, 2005). In addition, several witnesses also observed a UFO after 20:00 Z at a lake 60 km west of Quebec City, Canada.
http://thecid.com/ufo/uf09/uf9/099250.htm
Between 22:50 and 23:00 Z, more than 50 witnesses reported UFOs in Iowa (Southern Illinoisan, June 6, 1969; Muscatine Journal, June 6, 1969). Dr. J. Allen Hynek “stated he understood the phenomenon was flashing silver, orange and copper colored, with chunks flying off of it”, while other reports told of two or three objects with bluish-green wakes (Southern Illinoisan, June 6, 1969, p. 14). Dr. Hynek suggested that the objects could have been parts of a re-entering Russian satellite, although an official with the Space Defence Center stated that “…it was highly unlikely that the objects were from a satellite because one is rarely placed in an east-west orbit.” (Daily Capital News, June 7, 1969, p. 1)
The IOWA Fireball of June 6th, 1969
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pohLTTR2mv
Iowa Fireball seen in above link- June 2014
*******
An FAA official stated that sightings at Riverside and Iowa City, were “…variously described as a bright ball of fire, flash[ing] and cigar-shaped objects” with “Colors…from silver to blue and blue-green” (Cedar Rapids Gazette, June 6, 1969, p. 4). The azimuth of the ground path of the “Iowa Fireball” on the map of plate 4 in Klass (1975) was about 272º, equivalent to an inclination of 178º, and therefore larger than the maximum reported inclination of any satellite launched up to that time.
Here it should be noted that the ground path of a satellite is determined by the inclination of its orbit, which is the angle between the Earth’s equatorial plane and a spacecraft’s orbital plane (major axis). Of the thousands of launch-related items in the NORAD Catalog (2012) prior to June 7, 1969, with the exception of 13 which did not re-enter the atmosphere in the June 4 to 6 time interval, the maximum inclinations were all less than 121º, corresponding to azimuths larger than 329º but less than 90º.
Three (3) satellites were expected to re-enter June 5 or 6 but would not cross the sky from east to west (Southern Illinoisan, Friday, June 6, 1969, p. 14).
A Soviet rocket body (NORAD ID 3223) with an inclination of 64.8º (25.2º azimuth) re-entered the atmosphere on June 5, as listed in the NORAD Catalog (2012), but obviously did not have the east to west ground path of the “Iowa fireball”.
Cosmos 284 had an inclination of 62.3º (azimuth 27.7º), re-entering the atmosphere on June 6 at 5:46 Z, making a soft landing in the Soviet Union (Fairbanks Daily News, June 6, 1969, p. 1; NORAD Catalog, 2012;
www.zarya.info/Diaries/1969.php
For all of these reasons, Cosmos 284 was not responsible for the “Iowa fireball” and, in o summary, neither a rocket launch nor a re-entering satellite explains the “Iowa fireball”.
This leaves us with the only other possibilities:
Meteors or UFOs
*******
The Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory concluded that the “Iowa fireball” had been a meteor, and members of itsMeteorite Recovery Project proposed a landing site in southern Iowa (Blue Book files, 1969; Cedar Rapids Gazette, June 7, 1969). However, the following descriptions from several witnesses should be considered before drawing such a conclusion. For instance, a pilot, a teenager and a woman described the object “…as blue and circular, with no wings or indication of a propulsion system…flying east to west above the runway at an altitude of less than 1,000 feet” and with a speed between 483 and 644 km/hr (300 and 400 mph) (Cedar Rapids Gazette, June 6, 1969, p. 3).
A witness north in St. Louis, Missouri reported three objects in a line heading WNW for 60 to 80 seconds, with shapes resembling elongate badminton shuttlecocks (Blue Book files, 1969, p. 14 – 21). A student in East St. Louis, Illinois saw three bright self-luminous, lime-green oval objects beside each other about 805 meters (half a mile) away, decreasing in altitude from 518 to 457 meters (1,700 to 1,500 feet), whereas another witness saw four objects in a line heading west, one of which was oval-shaped with a blue-silver tail (Blue Book Files, 1969, p. 24 – 42).
Several other witnesses saw one of the objects speeding up relative to the other two, while a civilian 53 km (33 miles) northwest of downtown Chicago saw a single tear-drop shaped object (silvery-aqua color), with a tail 10 times as long as the diameter of the head, and with a piece falling upwards from the object as it traveled silently straight and level(Blue Book Files, 1969).
The most easterly sighting was made by a pilot and two other persons in an airplane near Greenfield, Indiana, who, for about 30 seconds saw a single object with an almost metallic “face” south of Greenfield heading west (Blue Book files, 1969, pp. 47-50). Its trajectory was south of the one shown in plate 4 of Klass (1975), such that different objects were travelling along separate parallel paths.
To summarize, the object(s) had the following characteristics, some of which were not meteor-like: a silvery metallic appearance; flying without being heard; one “piece” moving upwards; one object speeding up relative to the other two; a change in relative positions of the objects from one after another to one beside the other; visibility in flight for over a minute; apparent shapes resembling either a tear-drop, oval, cone, bullet or badminton shuttlecock.
The most compelling evidence for a UFO interpretation, however, was described in a UFO Investigator (1972) article, based on a sighting by an FAA controller and several pilots, who were flying east near St. Louis, Missouri on June 5. Interestingly, a drawing of a side view of the object in that article resembles the side view of the Roswell UFOillustrated in Randle and Schmitt (1994). The UFO was described in this 1972 article as hydroplane-shaped, 18 to 20 feet long, 7 to 8 feet thick and 12 to 14 feet across at the back end. Viewed from the side, such an object could have had an elongate teardrop shape, but seen at different angles from a distance, it would have had different shapes.
June 6, 1969 in the West End of Ottawa, Canada
On June 6, 1969 between 2:00 and 2:45 Z, and most likely at about 2:30 Z (June 5, 22:30), a UFO about 60 m long (Fig. 1) was observed in the west end of Ottawa (Nentwich, 2008). Its surface was not uniformly reflecting light, but was partly covered with a black film.

Figure 1: Side and cross-sectional end views of the Ottawa UFO described in Nentwich (2008).
At about the same time in Ottawa, UFOs appeared over Parliament Hill, after which they travelled to Uplands Airport (Bondarchuk 1979).
*******
July 18, 1969 about 321,861 km into the flight of Apollo 11
Buzz Aldrin wrote that with the help of an on-board telescope, a UFO was seen pacing their spacecraft; the UFO resembled “a series of ellipses, but when you made it real sharp it was sort of L-shaped”
http://www.ufoevidence.org/cases/case592.htm
July 20, 1969, in Ottawa, Canada
An employee of the National Research Council, as well as some of her neighbors and a police officer, reported a UFO in Hull (now Gatineau just north of Ottawa) between 11:00 and 1:00 Z. The NRC employee stated that it was “A single object, shaped like a watermelon, glowing brightly with an orange hue”… that “Passed slowly overhead and then travelled at great speed across the Ottawa River to the Parliament Bldgs”, over which it hovered (NRC File N69-128, 1969). This sighting was on the same day as the Apollo 11 moon landing.
Apollo Flights and UFO Sightings
Maurice Chatelain, former chief of NASA communications systems, quoted in Good (1988, p. 385), stated that “…all Apollo and Gemini flights were followed, both at a distance and sometimes also quite closely, by space vehicles of extraterrestrial origin….Every time it occurred, the astronauts informed Mission Control, who ordered absolute silence.” Further evidence supporting this claim includes an analysis of Apollo 16 film by Nakamura (2003, p. 409),who described an enormous domed disc travelling 20 to 40 km/second and wobbling like a leaf falling from a tree. In addition, indirect evidence presented by Good (2013) suggests that after landing the lunar module on the moon, theApollo 11 astronauts observed large UFOs nearby. A summary of tentative evidence concerning life on the Moon, including UFO activity there, has been considered by Proud (2013, pp. 279-356), based on many sources in the literature.
Conclusions
UFOs appearing after major rocket launches at or near the launch site or even following the rockets leaves little doubt that such launches stimulate UFO activity. In some cases, however, UFOs have appeared large distances from the launch sites, as in the Texas UFO sightings after the Sputnik 2 launch. These cases are less convincing though the appearance of a UFO shortly after a launch when there were only a few objects in orbit is still significant. The reports ofUFOs in Ottawa after the Apollo 9 and Luna launches, and on the day of the Apollo 11 moon landing, considered together, do not seem entirely coincidental, especially if one includes the Apollo 11 sightings on the way to the Moon.
It may be that UFO reports correlate more strongly with artificial satellites sent by humans beyond near Earth orbits than they do with orbital or suborbital flights. On the other hand, UFOs were also reported on dates when there were no Apollo flights. For instance, a UFO on April 22, 1969 about 25 miles east of Ottawa was seen flying along a power line while another was seen on May 11, 1969 on Allumette Island west of Ottawa (Bray, 1979; Rutkowski, 2006).

Hi-Tech Hearing Aids Capture Sound Of UFO
By Jeff Krause, MUFON Investigator
(Copyright 2015, Jeff Krause – All Rights Reserved)
<Edited by Robert D. Morningstar>
On November 06, 2015, a local San Luis Obispo (SLO), California photographer was at Laguna Lake photographing birds, when he had an encounter with a UFO that he will never forget. The photographic evidence for this case is very compelling, however what makes this a significant case is not so much what he saw, but rather because of what he heard.
I first heard about this case when I was out walking my dogs, and ran into a neighbor of mine who I had met previously when we were both out in the neighborhood with our cameras taking pictures. Since he wishes to remain anonymous, for reasons that will be very clear as I go on, I will not use his name. Because I find made-up names to be confusing, I will just refer to him as “the witness”. Suffice it to say that we had previously struck up a friendship over photography, not UFOs, although we had touched upon the subject before, and he was aware of my status as State Director So CA for MUFON.
The witness is a retired Army Veteran, who served four years active duty back in the 1960s. He learned about photography from the airmen who worked at Lajes Air Force Base in the Azores, back in 1961, and had his own darkroom for a while. Today he prefers using the Nikon D800 and a Nikon D90. When asked to summarize his job in the Army this is what he had to say: “I was asked to join the Army Security Agency because of my test scores. The ASA units served with regular army units but we took our orders from DIRNSA, Director, National Security Agency not the Department of Defense. My job was a Communications Center Specialist. I was granted a Top Secret Crypto clearance to do the job. I had access to Sensitive compartmented information that was contained under the UMBRA code word and access to information considered way above Top Secret, which I cant talk about.” Hopefully this explains why he wishes to remain anonymous for now, and also establishes his credibility.
The witness also relies on hearing aids, and has some remarkable ones that are made by Siemens called Pure Binax. They use a Hearing Loop Induction technology that enables signals from compatible devices to be directly transmitted to the users hearing aids. This comes in handy at places such as theatres, museums, and other places that use the compatible systems. They also played a key role in the witness’ experience.
The witness explained all this to me as we continued walking my dogs, but then when he told me how it was relevant, I asked him to send me an email detailing exactly how the pictures were taken. Here is part of his email: “I think that I heard the sound of an unidentified object and captured that same object with my Nikon D800 on 6 Nov 2015 at the dry lake bed of Laguna Lake.”
*******
“I am a Veteran and got brand new hearing aids on Oct 5th at the clinic here in SLO. They include the feature to use inductive hearing at movie theaters etc. that have that system. I was taking HDR images of the dry lakebed. A group of 5 images, same f-stop, different shutter speeds to gather all the image data, then move camera 15 degrees and repeat until panorama is complete. I took the photos with a Professional camera; a Nikon D800 mounted on a tripod at 4.5 frames per second. I took the first group of 5, then rotated the camera 15 degrees and grabbed the remote to press the shutter and there was a very loud noise coming thru my hearing aids that went from one side to the other and was gone. I was stunned but being new to hearing aids I just got on with my pictures. When I got home I downloaded the photos from the camera into the computer.
Then, using Photoshop Lightroom, I assembled the HDR image from the 7 groups of 5 images. Upon looking at the completed images I noticed that a bird had been in the scene on the second group of 5. And then I noticed that in addition to the multiple images of the bird there was the image of a Disk shaped object but only one. I checked the RAW files produced by the camera, and the object is only on the 1st of the 5 images from the second set. ”
The UFO, a Cessna Sky Hawk, and a real hawk, all captured in the same photo have been enlarged and enhanced by photo analyst Robert Morningstar , as shown below and others that follow.

The photo shown above is the only photo out of the set showing the UFO object in it. Also visible in photo are an airplane, and some birds, all (except the UFO) are visible in the other photos.
Below is a copy of the picture that I adjusted the contrast on, and cropped to show only the object. As you can see, the details are rather startling, and do not appear to be a “bug” or a “bird”. It would appear to have two appendages coming from it, equidistant from each other, and a dome or bubble on the top and center.
Here I have resized the captured object, and tweaked the exposure to bring out details of the object.

Further adjustments (below) brought out more details.
Normally, when a witness says that they did not see anything at the time when the picture was taken, it turns out to be nothing more than birds, insects, or water drops on the lens, so it was quite surprising to find something so interesting in his photograph.

In the enlargement above and the “equalized” enhancement done by Robert Morningstar, shown below, one can more clearly see either an exhaust plume, emanating from the UFO or, perhaps, an appendage of some sort that is not easily distinguishable in the unequalized close-up.

However, I think it is much more important that the hearing aids that the witness was using were apparently able to capture the sound produced by the UFO, either from an energy field surrounding the object, electromagnetic interference, or perhaps, it may have been produced by the UFO propulsion sytem, i.e., the UFO’s ElectroMagnetoGravitic (EMG) Drive itself.
The witness described the unusual sound to me as being very loud, and that it sounded like a Theremin, an electronic musical instrument, invented in Soviet Russia in 1920 by a young Russian physicist named Lev Sergeyevich Termen (known in the West as Léon Theremin).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theremin
The eerie sound of a Theremin is familiar to us all from 1940s & 50s science fiction movies, such as “The Day the Earth Stood Still” and “The Man From Planent X.”.
The witness also reported that he heard the sound of the UFO, picked up and amplified by the high tech hearing aids, traveling through his head from one side to the other, in less than a second.
I find the testimony about the sound, coupled along with the picture and the analysis I’ve done of it, to be compelling evidence that the witness captured a unique, and excellent photo of a genuine UFO, which has been dubbed “The Laguna Lake ‘Theremin UFO’ “ by Robert Morningstar, Editor of UFO Digest.
